Classic MGs have always inspired a loyal fan base and all 18 models in the sale were successfully sold, top honours going to a lovely ex-USA 1954 TF 1500 which had been fully restored and converted to right-hand drive in the mid-1990s and fetched a well-deserved £25,600. A smart but still left-hand drive 1952 TD 1250 made £19,250 while a very nice 1961 MGA 1600 Mk2 Roadster with a five-speed gearbox conversion made £22,000. -

The Peugeot e-Legend Concept is powered by a 100% electric power train, with the 100kWh batteries reaching 800Nm torque and 340Kw power, distributed to the four-wheel drive. This level of performance makes it possible to travel 0-100km/h in less under four seconds and reach a maximum speed of 220km/h. The range is 600 km according to the WLTP protocol, of which 500km are accessible in 25 minutes thanks to a fast recharge.
Auction house Bonhams launches MPH to target modern classic market 17 Jun 2019 (News)
Headed up by Rob Hubbard, who relocates from the New Bond Street department, Bonhams MPH is based at Bicester Heritage - the UK's only hub for historic motoring excellence. Bonhams will hold four drive-through sales a year at the site to meet demand from the growing market for modern and popular classics. The first sale will take place on Thursday, 26 September, and Bonhams MPH will host monthly on-site valuation and photography days on the last Friday of the month from 26 July.

Two Jaguar XK120SE Roadsters in Historics 24th November Classic Car Auction 9 Nov 2018 (News)
Lot 283 is the 1953 XK120SE Roadster in silver with chrome wire wheels. Converted from left to right-hand drive by the vendor, then stripped to bare metal and painted in classic Jaguar silver. Both footwells have been extended and courtesy lights fitted to the underside of the doors. The standard bench was swapped for more sporting red leather bucket seats.
