Ford Ka - Ford KA missfire, ANY HELP APRECIATED 24 Nov 2014 (Forum)
Hi, I have a 2002 ford ka with the endura engine about 85k miles. a few days ago it went from running well to develop a heavy missfire, will not pull and the engine light has come on. with the engine running lumpy I can remove plug lead 2 and 3 and nothing changes, but when removing 1 or 4 the engine cuts out. I have replaced the plugs, leads, coil pack, but the situation is still there. -

Ford Focus - engine misfire 20 Sep 2011 (Forum)
It does not happen under hard acceleration. My local independant says it is moisture causing tracking on the spark plug leads where they enter the engine and Ford recommend a dose of their silicon spray. Has anyone heard about this? It is not a great problem because it does not happen too much. They are the original plug leads so maybe it is to be expected? -
Can DPF filters be removed or bypassed? 22 Aug 2010 (Ask HJ)
In view of the problems with DPF filters is there any reason why they cannot be bypassed or disconnected? I appreciate that this would lead to a failure... -
Ford Fiesta V reg 1.25 Zetec - Servicing and parts? 16 Apr 2010 (Forum)
Hi It looks like the problems I'm experiencing with my car (issue posted in technical forum) may be down to plugs, HT leads and a good service. I know it varies, but how much would I expect to be paying for: a full service (what does this include?) spark plugs (and leads?) set of brake flexi-hoses for the brake pipes Would appreciate if someone could give an indication of what to shell out for the above, inclusive of parts & labour. -
Ford Fiesta (2002 - 2008) - 03 1.4 Water around spark plugs 16 Jun 2008 (Forum)

golf mk 4 gti - keeps cutting out 7 Mar 2011 (Forum)
Hi everyone My golf keeps cutting out when i slow or stop and is very lumpy when idling and sometimes also cuts out when idling i have replaced within the last month as follows spark plugs and leads, oil and filter, i cleaned the throttle butterfly, air mass meter, collant temp sender, and both lambda sensors (very expensive) this just started yesterday after i changed the leads again because i felt like there was a miss and i brought the last set of leads of ebay (never agan) and sometimes when i turn a corner the oil pressure warning light comes on plus i was getting a clicking from the engine somewhere i read this could be that the oil needed topping up so i did and the clicking went and also the warning light stop coming on but i keeps happening so i top up and stops again (bit worried about this as there is not an oil leak anywhere) please can anybody help me with any of these problems Thanks -

Fiat punto running roughly. 6 Dec 2006 (Forum)
Tonight my daughters "P" reg Punto suddenly started to run very roughly, idling badly with no power when driving. I thought it may be coils, plugs or HT leads, but all plugs are sparking, and on removing the HT leads on the coil one at a time, (and then putting them back) all drop the revs and one lead off at a time will stall the car, suggesting to me that the sparks are there with the engine running. -

Peugeot 205 - Starting Problem 6 Dec 2010 (Forum)
Sometimes you turn the ignition and the warning lights come on but when you turn the key further to engage the starter all the electics go off completely ie clock, warning lights, the lot. So, open the bonnet, disconnect the quick release positive battery lead, then reattach it and everything back to normal. Except yesterday this quick fix didn't work and I had to jump start it from another car. Could this be a battery fault, a dodgy lead (which looks fine) or some strange Peugeot electrical gremlin? -

Clockwork Ignition problem 28 Oct 2001 (Forum)
Mk I Escort 1298cc X-Flow engine (GT spec) Engine misfires badly throughout the rev range - badly enough to stall if left idling for 20 - 30 seconds. It's across all cylinders and from checking there is no output from the coils HT lead. The dizzy shaft has a bit of wobble (side to side). Timing is OK. Any suggestions of a possible solution would be welcome... So far my plan is to work from cheapest up, so having checked timing, connections, gaps etc I suppose condenser then coil HT lead then coil.
