  Just testing a Gunsons Gastester Pro that I recently acquired. Set to 2.00% in fresh air as per instructions and then tested in exhaust of 1998 Peugeot 106 1.4 injection and reading came out as -0.60%? Should be less than 1% according to my Haynes manual but how can it be less than zero? Borrowed a friends Gastester and got similar result - am I missing something here?

  Hi guys, Does anybody know what size Torx socket I need for the head bolts on the Peugeot 106 1.5 Diesel? The new bolts I have show the size as M11 if that helps. I could probably use an 11mm socket but I don't want to risk damaging the heads. Any ideas of the cheapest place to acquire online?

  I have a 1995 Peugeot 306 TD. Problem is that car wont start, battery ok and I get the old clicking noise. Dont know a great deal about motors but think "starter motor". Apart from clicking noise, there is also a clicking noiose coming from the relay box under the dash.

  Hi all, I have a Blaupunkt PF3 (c) R from a 1992 Peugeot 306. I'm able to generate code but which button on the set is pressed after the final code digit is entered pls?Also when I enter the code 1621 the screen displays 2620 once last digit entered, any ideas?

  To re-select reverse you have to put it in 1st gear then come back to reverse otherwise it won't engage. The linkage at the gearbox end doesn't appear to be loose or worn. Peugeot service man claims not to have encountered it before. It's an ex-lease car and up to 87k miles would probably not have done a lot of reversing. Any ideas?

  i have a 93 peugeot 106 1.4 diesel and my m8 realised that diesel woz dripping from the bottom of my car i had a look at it 2day and have traced it 2 my diesel pump. when looking at it from the front of my car there r 2 big nuts 1 above the other.the 1 that is leaking is the 1 at the bottom with an allen key to undo it can any 1 tell me wot this nut is for and where i can get a washer for it from cheers lee

  ve done a forum search and turned up a couple of different methods of resetting the remote central locking for a Peugeot 406, however the various combinations don?t seem to work on my newly acquired 2002 HDi. Please, does anyone have the definitive method of resetting? The remote fob has two buttons, one large one with a locked padlock symbol on, the other a small one with an unlocked padlock symbol on.

  Hello, I have a knocking on a peugeot 307 hdi its a 52 plate. it seems to be coming from the front end but this could be decieving, as when you sit on the drivers side it sounds like it is that side. but also when you sit on the passenger side it sounds that side too.

  I have a Peugeot 106 (around 8/9 years old?) which has recently taken to stalling when I slow down for traffic lights or roundabouts or need to come to a complete stop. This ONLY happens when I have just come off of the motorway (so far).

  Hiya all, first time so take it easy!! I have a peugeot 406 1.8 LX 97 which i have had since new, it is a delight to drive but has recently started to idle erraticaly!Its intermittent, but seems worse when the car is hot. Normally it would idle at around 900rpm but over the last month it is anywhere between 800 and 2000rpm taking the needle a long time to come to a rest!!!

  I was completely honest with any faults (e.g. air con) and the fact that I've done the servicing for the last couple of years. The buyer told me how reliable Peugeot diesels are (conrods?) before handing over a big wad of £20s. Obviously not a backroomer.

  My girlfriend has a problem with her 1.4 LX peugeot 206 (02 reg). The engine suddenly lost power on the motorway last night and the engine warning light came on. She pulled off the motorway, switched the engine off, tried it again after 5 minutes and the engine was fine and the warning light had gone off.

  Am unable to lock the doors on a Peugeot 206, whether by using the key in either lock or using the remote plip. With the doors and boot shut, the central locking just locks the doors briefly and then unlocks again as though one or more of the doors are open.

  my daughters 206 2001 model has just been into main dealers (under warranty) with a notchy/clunky gear selection problem. Local dealer who sold car wanted to replace gearbox, but peugeot refused and dealer has to rebuild gearbox, replacing various parts. Not sure what root cause is, any one else had similar problem if so what was the fix? Begs the question what IS a manufacturers 3 year warranty worth?

  Does anyone know where a friend of mine can source some passenger seat runners for a 99T Pug 206 LX 1.9D (motor factors/breakers/dismantlers etc.) especially in the Yorkshire area. These seats are the ones with the storage bin underneath them. Peugeot main dealer will only sell her both sets of runners and crossmember for £107. Only one of the runners has failed - metal stop has disintegrated (slightly worrying on a 2 year old car methinks).

  Hi, I have test driven a 306 XSi at my local Peugeot dealer which I want! It's on the forecourt for 10295. It's a June99 T-reg, 11K miles in blue pearlescent with a CD changer & A/C. The lowest the dealer will go is 9995 with a free service and says I have to get my own tax!

  Is there a sensor that tells the injectors to start working when you first start the engine, i used to have a peugeot 306 and that used to rev to about 2500rpm when you initially started it and then settled down to idle. Maybe an ECU error? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
