  • CarFest North date and venue confirmed for 2013 15 Jan 2013 (News)
As in 2012, CarFest South will take place at Laverstoke Park Farm – the home of former Formula 1 World Champion Jody Scheckter – on Friday 23-25 August. Visitors can expect to see some of the world's greatest cars performing on a longer and more exciting hill climb course plus three evenings of live music, fabulous festival food and an amazing range of fun and games for the whole family. Conceived by Evans as his own perfect petrolhead festival, CarFest was a sell-out in 2012 – and it was so oversubscribed that a second event was invented to meet demand; and so CarFest South and North were born.

ATS Euromaster demonstrates the importance of tyre safety 27 Sep 2011 (News)
With winter well on its way, tyre safety is extremely important – in wet or cold conditions tyres with low levels of tread are much less effective than tyres with 3mm or more, and winter tyres improve safety even further. hris Hufflett, Group Operations Director at ATS Euromaster, says: “If you drive a car or van then you must inspect the overall condition of your tyres, the tread depths and pressures at least once a month and before any long journey.  If in any doubt, you can visit one of our centres and we’ll do it for free.”

  • Toyota Invites Hybrid Owners to Beat the Official Economy Figures 5 Apr 2011 (News)
Official combined cycle figures are 72.4mpg for Prius and 74.3mpg for Auris hybrid, but significantly better consumption has been recorded for both models in independent economy drive events. Of course, this is a test of the maximum economy drivers can achieve by driving their cars as fuel efficiently as they can. It is in no way a measure of the true economy figures likely to be achieved in day to day domestic and business driving. The challenge runs throughout April and May, coinciding with a new nationwide ad campaign which is using TV, billboards and print and digital media to spread the word about Toyota’s world leading technology, not only in the Prius and Auris models on sale today, but also in the forthcoming Prius+ MPV and the Yaris Hybrid Concept that was unveiled at the Geneva motor show.

Unsurprisingly finding a dealership to accept all the notes, many of which were torn and stained, wasn't he easy, he said. After hours of counting, the staff at the dealership confirmed he had provided exact change.

  • F-registrations from £599 26 Aug 2008 (News)
The F series, which originally appeared at the end of a decade which saw the birth of the yuppie, the fall of the iron curtain and graced the registrations of some of the most iconic sports cars of all time, encapsulates F1 to F20 followed by any three available letters. Amongst the many potential buyers for the F-series is the motorsport fraternity, which uses the popular F1, F2 and F3 race series acronyms, and with so many sons of famous race drivers now competing for honours in the sport the registration F1 DAD could find a home in a famous motorsport family although it could just as easily get snapped up by the benevolent son or daughter of a motorsport fan.
