Honda Jazz? - Cars with no spare wheel 26 Jan 2014 (Forum)
It would only be used in emergencies, and at a sensible slow speed. After all, this shouldn't be any more dangerous or illegal than driving with a space saver wheel on. -
Toyota Aygo - Power steering light on 16 Dec 2013 (Forum)
The car went into a garage last week but ( of course) the light wouldn't come on for them so nothing got resolved. Today she has just rung to say it came on immediately upon driving and has stayed on. I'm going to suggest she takes it to a garage I use, but just wondered if there were any suggestions as to cause and possible cost to fix? -

Any - Car for Daughter 1 Oct 2013 (Forum)
She wants something very small and seems set on either a Peugeot 107 or a Citroen C1. She will be doing some motorway driving so needs an engine suitable for this. Her budget is around £5k. I am pretty unfamiliar with both of these cars so would be grateful for any advice. -
Avensis Auto - Automatics at traffic lights 4 Sep 2013 (Forum)
My father-in-law drives an Avensis auto. After advice, when at traffic lights and he has to wait he puts the parking brake on, and the gearbox into neutral. Is this right? I have told him it is as he doesn't dazzle the driver behind and I thought it to be less wear on the brakes and gearbox. -
NIssan Qashqai +2 - Nissan Qashqai + 2 Thinking of Buying 31 Aug 2013 (Forum)
I was thinking of buying a 1-2 year old petrol qashqai +2 for my dogs as i like the boot room, driving position and space. However i've read some dire reviews of the car with numerous problems. I was wondering if anyone had an independent opinion (unlike the cut and paste what car, auto expres etc) opinion or even better experience of a +2 petrol model. -

Lincoln Town Car - Short trips 8 May 2013 (Forum)
I worry that this may not be long enough to properly warm up my car's engine. At weekends I drive slightly more, at most 40-45 miles per day. Total: plus/minus 8,000 per year. The question is can I do anything to reduce wear and tear on the engine from these short trips. Thanks guys! -

landrover freelander 2 - freelander 2 not starting 19 Mar 2013 (Forum)
Our 60 reg freelander has drained its battery 3 times in the last 4 months. It is used regularly but not every day for a mixture of driving. We think the radio might be slow draining the battery as some times there are issues with the radio if you leave it on when turning off ignition. Have you any advice or seen this before. -

Peugeot 206 GT - Use of electric folding door mirrors 16 Jan 2013 (Forum)
Given that the majority of drivers clearly have no idea as to how to adjust the height of their car beams I am frequently distracted by vehicles behind me when driving at night. The option of being able to fold in the mirrors is excellent but I am concerned as to whether it is legal to do so. Can anyone clarify the position ? -
Vauxhall Astra G Petrol - Fuel filling problem 14 Dec 2012 (Forum)
My girlfriend drives a Vauxhall Astra V reg and she has had this problem since she had the car. If the tank is filled up, the garage pump doesn't automatically stop when the tank is full, instead floods the forecourt. Does anyone have an idea as to what the cause could be?
