  I picked up my new Mazda 2 TS2 last week and remember thinking at the time it did not have a TS2 badge on the back. In all honesty this does not bother me in the slightest and I thought Mazda had probably done away with this for the latest models.

  I've been waiting patiently for the launch of the new Mazda 3, which looks very impressive and good value according to Mazda's website. Called into 3 Mazda dealerships today but none had actual cars available on display - all 'expecting demonstrators before the end of May, but you can pre-order now if you want.....'!!

  Hello, A local dealer has a 2006 Mazda 6 petrol auto with 45k miles; will take my 2003 Nissan Primera 1.8 SE with 68k miles plus £1900 for it. Three questions: Will the Mazda be very thirsty compared to my Nissan? Any history of problems with Mazda automatics?

  Hi, I had the 6th year service on my Mazda3 completed during the week.  The Mazda delaer commented that the inlet manifold gasket *may* be leaking air. The car's covered only 31,500 miles!  What could've caused this? Dealer has quoted £231 to rectify.   I explained that I have a Mazda Extended Warranty but dealer stated that Mazda would need evidence of the fault.

  My daughters mazda 2 has developed a knocking sensation on sharp cornering, particularly at low speed. Mazda dealer says well known problem and has regreased steering column on several occasions with only temporary effect.

  I understand that the Mazda 6 and Ford Mondeo are built on the same platform?  If this is correct I'm assuming the Mazda 2.0 MZR-CD RF diesel engine is the same PSA designed unit as the Ford 2.0 Duratorq TDCi diesel engine (As Ford seem to be a majority owner of Mazda) - is my assumption correct, are they totally different or are there subtle differences between the two?

  Someone I know has a Mazda hatchback under a year old. The aircon has a leak so back it went. Mazda want a payment of nearly £200 for'special' air con gas to check the problem but won't do it under warranty. If it were me I'd be raising the roof but this person is unsure of how to proceed.
