Hi,
I had the 6th year service on my Mazda3 completed during the week.
The Mazda delaer commented that the inlet manifold gasket *may* be leaking air.
The car's covered only 31,500 miles! What could've caused this?
Dealer has quoted £231 to rectify. I explained that I have a Mazda Extended Warranty but dealer stated that Mazda would need evidence of the fault. The evidence is the illumination of engine-check warning lamp.
It appears that Mazda dealer is happy to do the repair if the customer pays but mention a warranty claim and they appear not interested.
I've read a lot of owner criticism recently concerning the declining standards of Mazda customer care. This appears to be another example.
Otherwise has been great car, very very reliable.
