  Having major problems with a 03 citroen C8 sx auto petrol. Been quoted £200 for a new throttle body as the car looses revs and will only drive in limp mode. Despite trying to add WD40 to the throttle body it intermitantly works.

  i bought a citroen c5 from a garage last year and they were meant to have fited a new head gasket. when i put it in for mot this year it fail on the head gasket as it had gone. the garage has said they would replace it and do the work. i dont trust them due to the fact that if they had done the work last year then it would not have gone by now. how can i tell if they have actualy done the work this time that they stated thay are going to do.

  i have a knocking noise in the cam belt cover of my 1.8i 2004 citroen xsara picasso. when i took the cover off i discovered what seems to be a free spinning wheel within the top rear pulley with very worn rubber pads in the center of it, making it wobble as it spins and cause the knocking. does anyone know what this wheel does and can i replace it without any need to take the cam belt and pulley off?

  I have a 02 reg Citroen Xsara Picasso 2l HDi and for some reason, when you lock the motor, either via the fob or key the rear passenger side door doesn't lock. Also, if you lock the motor, all the other doors lock but when you try the problem door it opens and deactivates the central locking on the other doors/boot.

  hi,i have a citroen xsara,(not picasso)1.4,w reg,78000 mls,the last couple of weeks the clutch has been slipping'.i've only ever done a clutch replacement on a rwd car,is it worth trying it myself or would it be just quick and simple going to a local 'clutch centre'.also would be better going to a main dealer and getting a 'genuine' clutch kit,i've been told there motor factor type clutch's are wafer thin and only last about 20,000/2 years.any info would be appreciated.

  Hi I own a 2000 Citroen Saxo 1.5d with Lucas pump.On cold weather when i start the car the revs are in the 500rpm area and sometimes it tend to cut off.After couple of minutes the revs goes up in the 700-800rpm area.I only get this problem when weather is cold.

  Hi, I have just bought a 1995 Citroen AX, 5 door, I have two problems: 1. How do I replace the manual door pull release buttons from the Inside of the door, Do they unscrew or pull off, as I have one broken on one of my back doors ?
• Citroen Xsara Picasso (2000 - 2010) - 2003 1.6 Socket size for sump plug ? 30 Jul 2008 (Forum)
  An odd request, but I don't know what size socket (if it is a hexagonal plug even) for my daughter's Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6 petrol. I want to change the oil for her, but until I get the ramps here, and the car, I can't have a look. I'll probably need another socket as our set was stolen. It would save me an extra journey if I could find out what I need beforehand.

  I will shortly be needing new front tyres for my C5. As we are all told, Citroens love Michelins best. I dont know why though. Michelin pilots are about £30 each more that the other tyre im considering;the Goodyear Excellence. Any comments on which one to go for? Is the Michelin worth 30%more.
• Citroen Saxo (1997 - 2003) - 00 Driveshafts worn out at 45k. 18 Feb 2008 (Forum)
  A friend of mine has had to have driveshafts replaced on her Citroen Saxo. the car is 7- 8 years old but has only done around 45k miles. is it a common prob on saxo's?? i always thought driveshafts are good for 100 k plus miles unless a rubber boot has split. the boot did split on one of the driveshafts but that doesn't explain the other one needing replaced at such such a low milage.

  Car was MOT'd today and passed but had an advisory notice that "Rear callipers touching the discs" I'm at a loss to imagine how this is possible as with my limited knowledge I'd imagine that the pads would prevent this happening.It would seem to have identified the problem though.Any advice would be very welcome. Thanks. PS Whats a citroen Mehari?

  Hi, Can anybody advise on a problem with my wife's Citroen C5 HDi 110 estate (2003). She unlocked it with the remote control, first thing in the morning, and although the doors were all open, the tailgate (not the window glass) remained resolutely locked.

  I have decided to get rid of my Picasso. Its a 51 plate and has done 120,000 miles. It has a full Citroen service history (with additional oil changes, if that makes any difference). The Aircon doesn't work and there are faint handprints on the body - it's met Blue. The interior is free from damage or any visible wear.

  I've got a Citroen C3 1.4 HDI 16v SX. It was serviced at 8,264 miles then at 21,046 miles. It's now done 30,500 miles and the service indicator is saying it has around 1,000 miles left until a service. Now the manual says it's due a service every 20,000 miles, and all the mileage I've done from 21k to 31k has been motorway miles.

  is there a cheap way of testing/repairing control unit and or replacing as seems every garage/dealer i speak to says something different... citroen main dealer says new unit over £400 and needs to be \'specialy\' installed by them to work....? appreciate feedback.... cheers hacked off from Emsworth......!

  I'm in love with my friend's Citroen XM Mk-II 3.0 V6 24V Auto. It's for sale and can be mine for 7000 Euro. I'm especially overwhelmed with its ride comfort that even a facelifted C5 simply cannot deliver. It's got 78k on the clock, full history, manufactured in 1998 (Mk-II).
