Volvo V60 - The first 10,000 miles 25 Jul 2017 (Forum)
So even if it wasn't my first choice, I've generally been happy with the V60. It's the D4 (190 bhp turbodiesel) with torque converter automatic, in quite a fetching shade of light blue. Good things: - It's safe and solid, and seems built to last. - Reasonably quiet diesel engine which is loosening up nicely with pulling away from rest getting gradually livelier. -
Buying a car, would like a few things cleared up 24 Feb 2017 (Forum)
My car has failed its MOT (04 plate Mondeo) & i'm kind of glad because i've had it for 2 years & its given me mostly nothing but grief in that time. Before this i pad a 02 automatic Peugeot 407 & a Vauxhall Agila (First car, insurance was ludicrously cheap) Both of these cars have also had there fair share of problems. That said none of them cost more than a £1000 to buy. -

Electric & Hybrid Cars 12 May 2012 (Forum)
The Nissan Leaf was an interesting car, purely electric and therefore a maximum range of around 80ish miles. It was a nice solid car, and drove almost exactly the same as a good automatic. I could actually see this type of car meeting a lot of people's requirements, however £26,000 for a Fiesta / Focus size car? It also amused me how Nissan felt the need to bend the numbers on their advertising in an attempt to make it seem a good buy.
