  can anyone help the fan stays on when engine turned off we were told could be the relay switch but cant find the relay switch.its not in usual place taking fuse out turns off fan but obviously cant keep driving car like this.. the fan has now stopped working completly can anyone help please.

  My wife drives a 2000 Micra 1.0 which has manual front windows. The winder on the drivers side has come off and I cant see how to fit it on securely so that it doesn't keep falling off the spline every time the door is closed!

  Something odd going on with my car,sometimes when I switch on the engine the oil light remains on and when I engage gear there is no drive,I switch the car off and on again restart the engine and alls OK,this has happened a couple of times recently. any advice please Thanks

  Just reflecting on last weekend's carnage here in Spain. 24 killed on the roads, and TV reports as usual referring to "accidents" "caused by fog". Judging by the cars that overtook me in one 45 minute drive through some horrendous patches of fog, mostly going at twice my speed and with no lights on, the proliferation of automatic transmission, cruise control and automatic headlights leaves drivers of *certain large cars* comatose if not actually brain dead in fog.

  Does anyone know where I can get an on board camera to install in my car to record the road ahead? I would like to record other peoples crazy driving after a near miss that could have wiped out my entire family this afternoon whilst travelling through the Dartford tunnel. At least if an incident had occurred, I would have had it on camera as evidence!

  Hi, This is a silly question, but it is driving me mad. My saab 95 has the grills missing on the bumper ( the two that go where the fog lamps are) , i have got replacements, but cannot get them to fit. does anybody know what the V and H markings are on the grills, or advice on fitting them......thanks in advance.

  I've got to drive 50 miles on Monday with 3 teenagers on the back seat of my 2003 Focus Ghia. I've tried the centre position myself for a minute or two and considered the backrest to be very uncomfortable. Has anyone any experience of being a passenger for any distance in the centre of the back seat of this model?

  I have a freind who has driven for around ten years as a named driver, he has never been involved in any accidents or claims. He wants to obtain car insurance in his own name and hopefully some credit for accident free driving. can anyone recommend an insurance broker or company who may allow him a no claims bonus ? thanks you

  Last week I was side-swiped on a 90kph curve on a Spanish motorway, and hit three times. I was sent spinning down the road. I would like to think it was my driving skill that enabled me to bring it to a halt on the hard shoulder, but I'm sure the Golf's ESP was a large contributor. Any thoughts?

  When driving the car through the gears there is a slight knocking noise from the engine/gearbox. The noise only occurs when your foot is off the accelerator and the clutch pedal is in. No noise on tick over or when revving in neutral.

  We (parish council) are getting grief for not supporting the installation of a disabled parking bay. The resident in question does not have a car or drive. they want the bay so that their carers (cleaners/home help) can park outside their house rather than sometimes having to park down the road and walking less than 500 yards. The carer isnt disabled.

  I had to drive on the M4 ON Monday and was shocked at the poor state of it between junc 15-14, it seems as though non colour matching surface was used to repair it very badly. It's uneven and the mixture of colours, almost dazzling.

  Driving up the M1 yesterday I saw a nice black AMG Mercedes carrying the registration SIDDIK. Clearly it had been 'messed about' but what would it have been issued as. I don't think S 10 DIK would have been issued - for obvious reasons!

  I have a 1992 Corolla which has suddenly started making a clunking/knocking noise from the back end. Nothing obvious amiss, nothing loose, hanging down or adrift as far as I can see. • '97 Megane - What's this warning light 29 Jun 2007 (Forum)
  I have just bought a Megane 97 (r) and sometimes when i am driving it there is a warning light what comes on. It looks like a box with a heart beat line running through it, i think it may have something to do with the electric/alternator... Am i right in thinking this or has anyone got the correct answer for my guess.
