  • Voided warranty not the only risk for drink-drivers 17 Dec 2009 (News)
For those with new cars , it is unlikely that a warranty would cover any repair or replacement costs incurred during an accident if the driver were intoxicated. With heavy fines and possible prison sentences also associated with drink-driving convictions, the reasons to stay alcohol-free this Christmas could be persuasive for anyone expecting to get behind the wheel. Norfolk Constabulary adds that, in its own jurisdictional area, a relatively small proportion of motorists continue to imbibe before driving.
