Audi 80 Mk II (1991-1995) - (91-95) TDi Fuel Filter Change 18 Dec 2007 (Forum)
Need to change the fuel filter on my Audi 80 TDI but I can't get hold of a manual. Its a screw in type located in a metal holder and it appears that a clamp bolt needs loosening before the filter can be removed. Grateful to know the procedure and whether there is a bleed device on the top of the filter holder. -

I've recently bought an Audi 80 TDI and I am noticing a clutch judder on take up in first gear. This mainly happens first thing in the morning and once the clutch has been used a few times it settles down, although the take up is very sharp, with no comfort zone. -

All, Just got back my trusty Audi 80 back after a accident repair, they lent me a NEW Shape Corsa 1.2 Club. First impressions were is that Ive never liked hatchbacks, but this changed my mind. Handling spot on even on damp roads, Audi always understeers Quicker than my 2.0 115bhp Audi, despite only have a 1.2 80bhp engine. -
Audi A4 Hunting?? 29 Apr 2006 (Forum)
Hi, After suffering a completely flat battery (I left an interior light on while off on holiday for a week) my 1996 non turbo 1.8 petrol Audi A4 has started hunting when the engine is slowed to tickover. The engine settles to a smooth idle after about 5 seconds. Anyone got any ideas?? I wonder if the ECU was affected by the dead flat battery or whether it could be just the throttle body that needs cleaning. -

Facelifted 'new' A8 (after such a short time in production)? Facelifted A4 Avant in ?December with salooon to follow? Has Audi gone mad? I like the new look, but am miffed that my A4 is going to start to look dated so soon. New A3 already looks like it doesn't belong to the family. Surgery imminent? A2 not long for this world anyway. -

I own a 1982 audi 80 and most times, but not all, when I use the clutch, the engine will rev up as soon as I put my foot on the clutch. No matter how gentle I am and I can actually feel the accelerator pull away from my foot. -

Anyone help I have a Audi 2.0 se Estate 1994 Auto of thelast one's before they became the A6. The car has covered 85,000 with out any major problems but, I think I have one looming now the engine seems to lack power occassionally and is now burning oil, I also seem to have oil sediment in the cars expansion tank. -

audi 100 air filter 13 Apr 2003 (Forum)
Hi, I've recently added an old audi 100 to the 'fleet'. I thought I would change the plugs but could only get 4, so I decided to change the air filter instead. When I removed the old one it was covered in oil, any ideas? I cant see any obvious areas of oil leakinkg under the bonnet. -

I have an Audi A6 with the 1.8T 20V engine and from reading a previous thread on a similar subject, HJ recommends simmering the turbo to avoid damaging the turbo bearings. Can anybody offer any advice on what driving conditions this would apply to, i.e. -

Hi, I am looking at a G reg Audi 80 2.0 E auto with 73,000 on the clock and FSH. The automatic gearbox is filled way over max mark and fluid is brown (engine up to temp). Cooling fans stay on for long after engine switched off. -

dear honest! i have a 1990 audi 80 coupe 2.3e with a cat.(ke3 jetronic fuel injection)the car has just started having a problem. after aprox 2 hrs driving.its power suddenly drops off the fuel compsion meter seems to read a greater fuel consumption and the electric fuel pump at the rear seems to speed up(increases in noise) any ideas? -
