Earls Court Motor Show set to star at Goodwood Revival once again 24 Aug 2011 (News)
Expect to see gorgeous and influential models, such as the Jaguar E-type, Bentley Continental R-type, Citroen DS, plus various Maserati, Ferrari and Alfa-Romeo models. Goodwood’s historic links with Earls Court are strong. The famous London Earls Court exhibition site was built on land once owned by the Duke of Richmond; the Earl in the name referring to the Earl of March, from whom the present 10th Duke of Richmond, and his son Lord March, are directly descended. -
April 2017 recall round-up: Faulty Honda airbags, Renault clutch problems and problematic Peugeots 12 Apr 2017 (News)
. Volkswagen is also recalling 3800 cars over a seat belt and airbag problem, while Citroen, Honda, BMW and Vauxhall are issuing national alerts over airbag faults. There are also some significant issues with Porsche and Maserati, with the later recalling the Ghibli and Quattroporte over a fuel leak. The 911 is also subject to a national recall, because the windscreen may have been fitted with insufficient bonding product. -
Cholmondeley Pageant of Power stars announced 30 Apr 2013 (News)
Some of the star attractions at the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power have been announced, including famous racing cars from Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, and Williams. Other highlights include a Maserati 250F made famous by Juan Manuel Fangio and Sir Stirling Moss. Aston Martin will be celebrating its centenary at the event, displaying cars like the DB4 GT, the 1959 DBR4 and tge 1955 DB2/4, which was one fastest cars of its era, both on road and on track. -

He bought his first classic car in 1963 – a 1924 Bean 11.9 parked outside the White Cross pub in Richmond. Other cars from the collection include a 1923 Bentley 3-Litre TT Replica, a 1960 Maserati 3500 GT, 1981 Aston Martin V8 Volante, 1923 Rolls-Royce 20hp, and a 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth. There is also a 1924 La Buire 12A, 1920 Bean 11.9hp, 1919 Singer Ten, and the 1880 Horse Drawn Hearse. -

He hoped one day to turn his collection into a museum As well as the Ferrari, other cars from the collection sold included a 1956 Maserati A6G 2000 Gran Sport Berlinetta Frua at €2,000,000 (£1,479,274.25), and a the 1949 Talbot-Lago T26 Grand Sport SWB by Saoutchik that sold for €1,700,000 (£1,257,449.58). A 1948 Talbot-Lago T26 Record Cabriolet by Saoutchik went for €745,000 (£551,058.79). -
Goodwood Nine Hour recreated at the Revival 29 Jul 2013 (News)
This race into the dark will feature a collection of classic sports-racing cars in the spirit of the 1952 to 1955 Goodwood Nine Hour races, including some exceptional examples of the Jaguar C-type, Aston Martin DB3 and DB3S, Maserati A6G, Ferrari 750 Monza, Austin-Healey 100S, Cooper-Bristol, Cunningham C4R, Allard and HWM. Beginning at approximately 6.15pm on Friday 13 September, the Freddie March Memorial Trophy will continue into the twilight (with sunset due around 7.15 pm), with the cars running with their headlights ablaze until around 7.45pm. -

Racing legend Moss led 84 cars – the largest collection of Grand Prix cars ever assembled – around the famous Northamptonshire circuit at the Silverstone Classic on Sunday, 27 July. Moss led the parade in a Maserati 250F and was joined at the front by David Brabham, son of three-time World Champion Jack, who passed away earlier this year. David drove a Brabham BT24.
