A rare, original condition 1984 Renault 5 Turbo 2 in left-hand drive and reading just 16,898 miles far exceeded its guide price selling for £86,625, more than £16,000 above its lower estimate. -

According to a survey by ClickMechanic, an online marketplace for car repairs, many drivers do not abide by the NHS-recommended eye test every two years - putting them and other road users at increased risk. Not only is it unsafe to drive with impaired vision, it can also be reason for insurers to terminate policies, leaving you in the lurch with repair costs. Every driver in the UK must be able to read a licence plate from 20 metres away - and any driving licence holder who cannot meet the minimum level of eyesight must not drive. -
Low-mileage Audi Quattro for sale 4 Sep 2017 (News)

Derek Bell delights crowds at Classic Nostalgia event 29 Jul 2015 (News)
Racing driver Derek Bell celebrated the anniversary of his first Le Mans win 40 years ago by driving the Porsche 956 and Jaguar XJ12C at The Midland Automobile Club’s Classic Nostalgia event at the Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb. As guest of honour, Derek took part in a full day of activities, driving up the hill, autograph sessions, promoting his book My Racing Life and carried out an interview session in The Courtyard with motorsport commentator Toby Moody. -
Percy Lambert remembered at Brooklands 21 Oct 2013 (News)
A brass plaque commemorating the life of Percy Lambert gone on permanent display at its original home at Brooklands. Lambert was the first man to drive more than 100 miles in one hour there in February 1913 in a Talbot owned by the Earl of Shrewsbury. Lambert broke the existing speed record by driving 103.76 miles in an hour at Brooklands, and to commemorate the occasion, a brass plaque was placed on the wall of the circuit's Clubhouse where it remained until the track closed. -

Mobility Roadshow Moves to Telford 27th-29th June 31 May 2013 (News)
Celebrating 30 years as the UK's original consumer mobility and independent lifestyle event dedicated to people with disabilities of all ages, The Mobility Roadshow 2013 will be held at the Telford International Centre on 27th, 28th and 29th June 2013. For the first time in the show's history, test drives will take place on public roads around the venue, offering visitors a more authentic driving experience.
