  The new high-riding 4x4 estate car from VW is due in the UK in summer 2003. It will be 4,750mm long, 1,930mm wide and 1,720mm high and will have a choice of 4.2 V8 petrol, V6 petrol, V10 TDI and 2.5 litre V6 TDI engines. The transfer box has a low ratio range and three locking diffs and, with short overhangs, the offroad capability should be high.
