Alvin, www.eurotunnel.com currently advertising £24 day return for shopping in France. Pick up your cheap French or other foreign car parts at the same time. Did it last summer for £15 return. Must have gone up. -

Taking the car to France, any alternative other than purchasing the Vauxhall converters at £25? Dealer tells me sticking tape on the lens not recommended as it will deteriorate the plastic lens, also the lens gives no clue as to where to put the tape. -

I have used the tag in France where it works very well. Saves time and effort at the peage. They now offer a tag for Spain and Potugal. Has anyone any experience of tha tag in these countries? Some personal experience and comments are welcome. -

I bought this car new in France in February 2013 and I am very pleased with it, however, in the handbook it says the first service is on 30000km. The oil looks very black, should I have it changed or wait till the service? -

Driving through France recently and every time a biker passed he put his right foot out as if to say merci for letting him past. Is this a true reading of this gesture? Is it peculiar to french bikers? Or are they avoiding DVT? -

The dealer cannot replace the bearing until after we should have returned home as its a holiday week in france and no one is working. The insurance company has offered us two choices, leave the car here to be recovered and faff around with rentals to get us home or risk it. I am minded to risk it.
