Vw golf mk2 alloy 21 May 2003 (Forum)
I have currently got 13 inch rims with 185/13/65 tyres. thinking of changing to 15 inch alloys with 195/15/60 tyres. Is this going to be ok? Will they fit and not cause any problems i.e. gearbox ratio/fuel consumption/steering/suspension? Many Thanks Sarb -

Smelly Car 2 Mar 2003 (Forum)
What would cause a car (with CAT) to smell horribly like eggs after a high rev run. The run doesn't even have to be that long. I dont think its the fuel im using cause i've switched to different good brands, but the problem remains. It is ok if I dont use high revs that much. -
Lambda Sensor 15 Mar 2002 (Forum)

Diesels 5 Mar 2002 (Forum)
Aside from cost, what is the advantage ? Other than longevity, MPG, and in some countries, fuel costs, why else would you choose to drive diesel over petrol ? I might for towing, although I'd prefer a bloody great petrol engine. But I'd choose the petrol every time. Anybody else have a view ? -
Esso diesel 4 Nov 2001 (Forum)
I have a diesel powered 406 HDI and find that Esso fuel makes this car go much better than any other diesel. Why might this be ? and do peugeot throw all their cars together in such a slipshod way as they assembled mine ? it rattles like a set of spanners having a gang bang in a filing cabinet. -

Any - Suzuki SX4 SCross vs Honda Civic vs Toyota Avensis 23 Feb 2019 (Forum)
3) Toyota Avensis 2009 VVTI (not the v-matic, hence no electric parking brake) model:-2009 mileage:- 63000 cost:- £3200 Pros:- Lowest cost option Avensis has excellent reliability ratings as per tuv surveys and other ratings 1.8 engine Decent motorway fuel economy (40 mpg?) Cons:- car is 10 years old. Problems may start appearing? Fuel economy worse than above 2 options. Perhaps 35 in regular driving and 40 on motorway cruising? I tend to look after my cars well (never skimp on servicing or quality of parts used) and keep them long term. -

Renault Megane Coupe - Shocked by Renault retail group Liverpool 11 Mar 2015 (Forum)
important;">He explained that he was not aware of the delve on the bonnet, but made a offer of £100 to drive the car away and that it would only cost £25 to fix the body work, i disagreed telling him that it would cost a lot more. Regarding the Fuel, there was only £10 in the tank, he tried to tell me there was £25, plus there was no car mats!!! All in all, I am shocked regarding Renault customer care, I should have been told about the delves in the body work, There should not expect a comment saying well its not a new car, Plus after arranging fuel and mats in with the deal, these should have been taken care off.
