  Hi, When driving the drivers airbag sign comes on and off every few minutes, then I see nothing for 40 minutes or so.  Any advice please

  The diagnostic warning lamp comes on when the car stops at traffic jam for more than 5 minutes. When driving normal again the lamp is off. Any idea ? Thanks

  The ABS light blinks intermittantly on my car. Some days it deosn't come on at all other days it blinks erratically as I drive. What is the likely cause of this ? Could it be a wheel sensor ?

  Can anyone tell me why my car (insured in my name for my son to drive) would be impounded when it is fully insured - but my son was allowing an uninsured driver to take the wheel - (off-road) to help teach how to park? What will my penalty be - anyone know?

  Is there an engineering reason why auto boxes go from park to reverse? Why not go to drive, particularly since on modern autos you can sideways or otherwise shift into tiptronic, sport or whatever? Is there any reason why it couldn't be reverse on the other side of neutral?

  Off on holiday to South of France this weekend, starting off with driving from Glasgow to Calais on Sat. Usual route of M74, M6, M1, M25 and M20. Any holdups, roadworks, planned disruption that anyone is aware of on this route? Or am I Cruise Controlled at 77mph for the whole way?

  i think it may drive shaft or cv joint but it comes and then goes silent for weeks any ideas

  Some people seem to use full beam at all times. Some dip them when overtaken. Some dip when there's approaching traffic. Some drive on dipped beam all the time! What's your "take" on this?
