Skid Training 19 Nov 2005 (Forum)
Does anyone know of, and/or had any experience of skid-pan training? I'd be interested in undertaking something like this, possibly with some other track-based driving technique training. I'm not interested in an IAM or RoSPA road-based course. -- Mattster Boycott shoddy build and reliability. -

A5 and A483 - Shrewsbury to Wrexham 14 Aug 2005 (Forum)
What is it with the diabolical level of car driving on this road? Why do car drivers think that it is perfectly safe to overtake on a SC road with oncoming traffic because it's wide enough if everyone moves over to make room to squeeze through? -

Anyone read this http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm It goes against what owners manuals say and I don't know anyone who runs in (break in as they call it in the US) a new engine by driving it hard. Surely, allowing an engine to bed down gradually is the secret to longevity and reduced oil consumption? Comments? -

I have Euro-style number plates with GB strip which the AA says are sufficient for driving in France. However I've heard somewhere that certain parochial authorities in France also demand a separate GB sticker. Opinions / experience? Oz (as was) -
