I am told that Mercedes Benz World and the MB sales and servicing operations at Brooklands were closed for some time today (Tuesday) because of an 'incident' with a Smart Electric car. I was told that it had caught fire in the workshop, necessitating the fire brigade being called and the building had to be evacuated.
