Vauxhall Vectra B (1995 - 1999) - Vectra vs Mazda 323 - Dilemma 18 Jan 2010 (Forum)
While the car was with insurance, my brother in law was selling his Vectra which I bought off of him because I knew Mazda 323 would be a write off. Now I need to sell one and can't make up my mind which one to sell. Both are V plate 2.0TD, 5 door hatchbacks. Mazda has done 136k and Vectra has done 105k. I've had Mazda for about 2 and half years now, never had any trouble. -

Bad Time to Buy a Used Mazda? 20 Mar 2016 (Forum)
I'd imagine the vast majority of these will be handed back, sold on or traded in. There's currently around 700 Mazdas on Autotrader (and doubtless that's where 95% of them will be advertised), so if the earlier figures are even remotely close to the mark, this should change a bit soon! We're either on the precipice of a huge increase in supply of Mazda vehicles - and prices dropping like a rock, or there's something going on with those "record sales" figures.... ;) NB I haven't looked at other manfacturers coz I'm not interested in replacing my old Mazda with anything else! -

Mazda RX-8 - Mazda RX-8 recall in the UK 10 Jul 2011 (Forum)
The car has had 3 previous owners. 2 weeks ago I discovered an oil leak and my engine flooded. My mechanic used to work for Mazda and told me that I needed a new oil cooling pipe because that is where the leak is coming from and it should of been recalled just as my starter should of been recalled too. When I contacted Mazda and asked them if my car had any recalls they told me that they were not aware of any recalls for the RX-8 and I told them I read many statements on the internet about recalls and they just told me not to believe everything I read...........they keep on denying all knowledge......so I handed the phone to my mechanic who they told was a recall but if the car is not under warranty I would have to pay.................. -
Mazda 6 estate diesel 2006 - Mazda 6 not ticking over properly. 6 Apr 2010 (Forum)
I have read on other posts that there is a common fault with the fuel pump on the Mazda, but I have eliminated this due to it stopping when I press in the clutch (I may be wrong as I am no expert!), I was wondering whether anyone else has experienced anything similar and had managed to find out what the problem is? -
Mazda Mazda 6 (2008 -) - Buying one, manual or auto ? help ! 7 May 2008 (Forum)
Hi I will be purchasing the new shape Mazda 6 2.0 TS2 in a few months time, however I am having trouble deciding on whether to opt for the manual or the automatic version. I live in London and only do 5000ish miles per year; however a lot of these miles generally involve stop/start traffic, and bumper to bumper crawls on the A406. -
Mazda RX8 thread 7 Jun 2014 (Forum)
I'm sorry but I have had to hide a thread about repairs to a Mazda RX8 where the poster swore and abused the garage concerned. However aggrieved you feel, you can't use abusive language on a public forum. We are at risk of legal action against us for defamation if the claims are untrue. -

Mazda 2 - Dull after using Farecla G10. How to rectify? 15 Sep 2010 (Forum)
I used Farecla G10 to remove light scratches of my black Mazda. The paintwork ended up with dull surface. Is there any bodyshop specialist can advise me how to rectify it, bringing the paintwork back to shinny, matching the rest of the panel surface? -
Mazda RX8 (2003 - ) - 05 1.3 Can I use any brand of oil? 24 Apr 2009 (Forum)
I've just bought an Rx 8 and have been told it needs regular oil top-ups. Does anyone know whether you can use other branded oil other than "Mazda" which isn't easy to find. Thanks -
Mazda 323 97 12 Jul 2006 (Forum)
I like the lines, but it's an old model with what HJ calls a high death rate (worrying). I imagine, being a Mazda it's reliable and though I couldn't afford to run the the V6, I've been offered a 1.8 Executive with 79,000 miles for £1500. What can expect of this car in relation to my 1.6 Focus LX? -
Nissan Z 8 May 2003 (Forum)
When is the new nissan Z available in the UK? Popped down to the local Mazda dealer today with a mate who wants a new 6, and they had 5 - yes 5 new nissan z's just rolled off the transporter, all unregistered. And why in the Mazda dealer? (who by the way were "too busy" to show us round a Mazda 6 - needless to say he will now get a Mondeo) -

Mazda 5 1.8 petrol - Mazda 5 1.8 petrol rough erratic idle 12 Nov 2011 (Forum)
Hi, We have an 06 Mazda 5 1.8 ts2 petrol. In the last couple of weeks this has developed a fault. To start with it happened intermittently when starting from cold, but seems to be getting gradually worse. The engine is running rough when idling, feels like a misfire, and loses power when you try to pull away. -

Mazda Mazda 6 (2002 - 2007) - 03 diesel hissing sound from engine. 15 Nov 2009 (Forum)
Hello everyone, I have a 2003 Mazda 6 diesel and have recently noticed a hissing noise coming form the engine from possibly around the EGR valve or that area there is also a fluid reservoir with a screw top in the same area and was wondering if any of you have heard similar in the past? -
Mazda Mazda 6 (2002 - 2007) - Tyre Time 2 Jan 2009 (Forum)
They are low profile and, even though I've never kerbed them, still seem to have worn on the outer n/s edges. Anyway, the alloys are new and mint so, in the north surrey area, any ideas??? When the Mazda dealer changed the alloys under warranty they did a good job and they were spot less, I had a puncture repair done by KandP in Ewell and they did a good job as well, so trying those places. Any experiances with mobile fitters? -
Mazda European Assistance v. AA 6 Jul 2004 (Forum)
Hi all - I'm one of those AA - motoring variant :) - members who hardly ever uses the service (touching wood now) and hence subsidises those who do :( Presently my cover costs about £85 for Roadside, Relay and Home Start (which is complimentary). I have 3 years Mazda European Assistance cover, however, which the dealer I bought my MPV from said was better than anything on the market. Is this true and is it, therefore, worth cancelling my AA cover until the Mazda cover expires?
