    2. The Scarborough Route Covers between Ravenscar and Cayton Bay along with a drive around Scarborough's seafront.   3. The Filey Route Covers between Lebberston and Reighton with a drive in Filey down along the seafront and up into town centre eventually returning to A165.

  I just get on average just a bit over 20mpg and this is a pain in the ar**.  This is because I mainly driving on short distances to city, shopping, lots of stops on traffic lighs etc. I am very gentle with gas pedal, but the mpg of this car is very expensive, causing I start thinking to change it. To the style of my driving (short trips, about 5k miles a year) I thinking that the petrol or diesel hybrid (not plug in)  would be the best choice and much more economic.

  Driving around in SWMBO’s Honda HRV today, I found myself being irritated by the constant bleeping from the utterly unnecessary lane departure system. Every time it sensed a line in the road (often where none existed) it bleeps an annoying warning at me, must’ve done it a dozen times or so on our short journey.

  Hello, I am having issues with my 2008 Volvo 1.6 diesel, it is currently driving very slowly (like there is no turbo) there are no warning lighs present, all I am getting is 'reduced engine power' on the message screen. Fault codes where glow plug relay, 02 sensor and cam sensor.

  It is going to be repaired locally and an insurance claim has been submitted. I was the last person to drive it on Friday and the damage was done overnight Friday / Saturday. My question is, is my own personal car insurance likely to be affected in any way by this claim.? Will i have to inform my own insurance company ?

  First time ever I used  google sat nav on my phone whilst driving in a town centre and found it to be excellent. I have never used any sat nav of any kind before. My question,  is there any advantage to be gained by purchasing a stand alone sat nav as my car does not have a screen ?

  Hi all Car is 2001 Fiesta mk4 1.3 Endura-e engine problem is car jerks under acceleration but under some circumstances: it starts at around 2100rpm until it reaches around 2600rpm under or above these rpm car accelerates fine i havent paid attention much but i think it happens only when engine is warm so that brings me to think it has something to do with the Evap system i have to say i been having this issue for quiet a time now but it had only a slight hesitation during the acceleration but now the hessitation seems to increase what do you guys think? i was thinking about disconnecting the purge valve electrical connection and test drive the car so i can isolate the problem to the Evap system if the jerks wouldnt occur is it safe to drive the car with the purge valve disconnected? thanks in advance Harel

  On Saturday night I was driving my car and it started smoking I drove through a puddle so I thought t was the heat from my breaks being warm and the water being cold. There was a smell of burning through the car but no engine lights came on.

  In the three years we have owned our 2000 W MX5 1.8 Icon, it has been a pleasure to drive. Unfortunately, over the past 18 months the car occasionally develops a severe misfire when started from cold. When the car is started, there is a strong smell of petrol, as if the engine has flooded.

  HI, this is driving me nuts!  I can find lots of posts about warning lights but none that seem to match my issues. Four weeks ago I filled up with Asda diesel and I got a 'Check Injection System/Emissions' message (with spanner).

  However, recently the Engine System Fault light comes on when the car is cold and limits the performance but it will allow me to change up through the gears slowly and within 10 mins or so the car drives lovely. When stationary however I sometimes can feel the engine chugging slightly and some fumes are noticeable when in the lower gears. In general though, once warm the car drives well but I do need to resolve these issues.

  I have changed the EGR valve and just about every sensor, I have also put a computer on it which gives an error code saying ''Invalid signal from the Fuel pressure censor''. Any ideas? It's driving me nuts.

  I currently drive a 12 year old Skoda TDI with 130PD engine which is approaching 120,000, to date the car has been reliable and is regularly serviced by independent VAG specialist, however I am not sure how long the car will remain reliable and start to cost  money to run more than normal.

  I have recently purchased a Jaguar XE, after a few minutes of driving the engine management light appeared, the car went back to the garage and 2 fault codes were recorded,firstly P208E-73,second one P0404-77. We were told the fault was simply an over fill of AdBlue.

  My mechanic has looked at the engine mountings and visually these look OK, but not checked other than a visual inspection. The age and value of the car does not warrant new Honda drive shafts, but I would dearly like to fix the problem.  Any suggestions please?
