  Advert on Autotrader headed: £8,000 2010 Audi A5 2.0 TDI 177 2dr Diesel Coupe I would guess that these go for over the £20k mark at this sort of age and mileage.

  stating the obvious - being fwd, an Audi will get thru tricky weather conditions whereas rwd BMWs, Mercs, Lexus etc will struggle. I know the quantities of snow we've got don't happen often, but rwd is mostly useless when it does. For me, it's no contest.

  Recently I saw the results of good security. An Audi A4 reversed onto a security post, (bent to about 45 deg.), in a private drive exit, with its rear wheels about a foot off the ground. I doubt if it was a theft attempt! Any other examples of good security?

  Peugeot 407 had weird electronic computer generated sounding indicators. New Mondeo has half decent sounding indicators. Audi S8 R reg had indicators so quiet, you had to struggle to work out if they were on or not. How come there is such variation in sound/volume of indicators?
