Path mishap 10 Feb 2009 (Forum)

Citroen Berlingo Multispace II (2008 - ) - HJ's road test has arrived! 18 Jun 2008 (Forum)
In fact, this event is soooooooo important, that I thought it was worth starting a new thread, rather than posting yet another post on mlj's thread. I was somewhat surprised at the comment "So instead of being quite good for a van, it actually is car-like to drive with a fine blend of ride and handling that belie its utilitarian looks." Personally, I thought that the old Berlingo was pretty car-like to drive with a fine blend of ride and handling. -
£8.5k, economical hatch. 29 Mar 2007 (Forum)
Right, baring in mind that th.is will be about six months down the line, I'll be changing my car (6 year old, 1.6 focus) for a new (18 month old) small hatch. I've figured that with £8,500 (I've saved up) I should be able to afford a decent one? Trouble is I'll be wanting a diesel, that will achieve a good mpg and a minimum of 18 months warranty left that wouldn't depreciate too much over the next 2/3 years (perhaps worth £5000 in a couple of years)? -
Insurance for "chav" mods 19 Apr 2006 (Forum)
A question for all you young lads or for the insurance experts My nearly 19 year old son is changing his car from the ancient VW Golf he had to practise in. He is looking at a 7 or 8 year old VW Polo - likely a 1.4 (please no comments about the car - that's his choice). He is already planning ideas on all the things he wants to do to it. -
£8k to spend. What to buy? 28 Nov 2005 (Forum)
I lose my company car in February and so will be back in the world of buying my own tax discs, tyres, fuel, etc. My budget is £8k and ideally would like a car 3 years old with less than 40k miles on the clock. I also need a decent amount of space as I need to fit a pram and shopping in as well as accommodate the usual weekend trips to B&Q and Ikea. -
Good News, Sad News 26 Mar 2002 (Forum)
Good News: Renewed the insurance on the Camaro today. £336.79 same as last year. Not too excessive for a 160mph car. Sad News: Called at the local Sainsbury's to pick up some essentials. Sat in the car waiting for the boss to return with the wine, a lovely old Facel Vega crawled past and parked opposite me. I've seen it around before and it looks like it's just come out of the showroom.
