3-Series run flat life

I have a BMW 320d SE Touring which is two years old and has covered 13,500 miles on largely A & B roads.

As it is driven quite sedately I was horrified to find the run flat Continental tyres worn to 2.5mm rear and 3.5 front

My local dealer advises that this is not severe for this car and BMW GB at Bracknell are unwilling to discuss the problem.

That's about normal wear for low profile runflats, yes.
