Buying an original mini - advice 4 Dec 2006 (Forum)
I was hoping a budget of around £500 as an original purchase price - not bothered about what it costs afterwards as it will be as and when I have the time/money to do things, however would like to be driving it within 12 months if its not road legal at purchase. Other than ebay, any other suggestions on sourcing a cheap mini? Thanks in advance -
MINI Coupe Cooper S - Rattles, Thumps, Squeaks and Bumps. 25 Mar 2014 (Forum)
When we had finally had enough and demanded a change of car all we got was corporate waffle and them firmly pointing the finger of blame on MINI UK. Hang on a minute, they sold the car? Has anyone else suffered issues with a MINI Coupe or been unfortunate enough to have to deal with Sytner in Coventry when things go wrong? -

classic car details - Fiat 127 7 Jan 2010 (Forum)
I am possibly going out on a limb here but I was wondering if anyone had performance specifications or web links. For me this was my first car (1049cc in CL trim) and it went like stink. I even beat 1275cc mini's Handling wasn't as good as a mini but it was still entertaining sliding sideways around corners. Hence I was wondering what the 0 to 60mph figures were. goodness knows how quick the 1303cc sport version was. -

BMW Mini - Steering ball - is it legal to use? 10 Sep 2016 (Forum)
She lost her husband about a year ago so has to drive sometimes to maintain a normal lifestyle - shopping etc. She has a BMW Mini automatic. I am aware that a steering assist ball could be fitted at about the 10 to 12 position on the wheel to allow her to steer with her left hand. Without going through some sort of disabled assessment would it be legal to fit and use a steering ball? -
Mini - Car damaged in garage, should I notify insurer? 1 Aug 2016 (Forum)
Hi all So my mini went in for a routine tyre change at protyre on Saturday. When the alloy was being removed the air pipe sheered off (with a metal clip still attached) and severely damaged my car - the windscreen is smashed, there is damage to the entire passenger side and roof and the plastic trim on the passenger side has been shattered. -

Dealer making it difficult for me to get car fixed 3 Jul 2020 (Forum)
They do not have their own workshop - they are a dealer only. I have checked with the garage the dealer wanted to use locally to them, and they are not Mini specialists and don't have the specific diagnostics. When I pointed this out, and said I needed to organise the diagnosis and a quote to fix with a local Mini specialist, the dealer then changed his tune to become "we have other contacts near us that just work on Minis" and that they "would be able to get 'trade' rates on parts and labour."
