  Hi, My 1991 Renault Trafic 2.1 diesel camper van may have a problem. When starting journeys, the van judders in first gear. After a few minutes of driving. it's okay. Is this a clutch problem. As mentioned, it only does it at start of journeys then is fine.

  Hi, I plan to change the brake fluid on my 1992 Renault Trafic, (campervan). Which "dot" brake fluid should I use on a commercial vehicle. There are two bleed valves on the front brake callipers. Can I do one at a time or should I bleed both at the same time.

  We keep an old Renault 19 (95) for occasional use. We have put in a new battery some weeks ago butv it still looses its charge within 24 hours. I have checked for bootlight/glovebox light etc but to no avail. Any ideas?

  I have an S reg Renault Scenic. I've noticed recently that when the brake lights are on and I indicate left, the left brake light flashes gently lighter and dimmer in time with the indicator light. And when the side lights are on it gets worse.

  Hi folks, Slightly odd question from me this time! Is the front bumper on the Renault Kangoo the same as the bumper on a Citroen Berlingo? Reason I ask is that I need to change my bumper (having torn a hole in it...), and my local scrappy has a Berlingo bumper, but no Kangoo bumpers!!

  I have a Renault Laguna 1.8 RT Sport (8 Valve - Multi Point Injection engine, not single point), on a 'R' Plate 1998. Can anyone tell me the spark plug gaps required? or can you fit them strait out of the box? Thank you.

  Can anyone enlighten me on how to access the clutch master cylinder on a 1998 Renault Espace 2.2 Turbodiesel? OK now you have all stopped laughing can anyone also tell me where the fluid reservoir is for same. Please take pity on me as I also have to change the cam belt!!!!!!!!!!!

  Hi all I was looking at a Renault Captur Plug in Hybrid on line over the weekend, are they any good?  Through the week I work a hybrid system whereby 2 days in the office a 25 mile round trip and the rest at home.  So I think easly coverable in a PHEV as according to ZAPMAP they have around a 25 mile range and charging overnight would cost around £1 From what I can gather the main engine is the 1.6 unit as fitted to the Dacia and some of the older Renaults.

• Renault Megane CC (2003 - 2010) - Cam belt gone - garage liable? 2 Oct 2009 (Forum)
  My cam belt has just gone on my six year old Renault Megane (74k on clock). Bill for repair is £860. Should the garage have identified the need for a cam belt change at its major service in December last year? I have just discovered that cam belts should be changed on renault meganes every 72k miles or every 5 years whichever comes sooner.Could they be liable as they didn't identify it or am I fighting a losing battle?

  I have notice very pronounced uneven rear tyre wear on my Renault Megan cc. The rear tyres are wearing to smooth on the outside and still have 3 to 4mm of tread depth on the inside. The renault dealership don't appear to accept a fault in design. I have had a 4 wheel alignment (computerised) check done by a reputable tyre company and all wheels are within the manufacturers stated tollerances.

  I have a November 2004 Renault Scenic 1.9dci dynamique. The air con does not seem very cold (although we have not had much hot weather to warrant switching it on) I have an RS Thermocouple measuring instrument that I could measure the temperature.

  I've got a Renault Clio 1.5dci (2002) that needs a replacement engine. I've found some bad reports about some firm in deleted ## and it seems best to avoid them. I've had a very good offer to do the job and a new, not used, engine from a firm of specialist renault breakers in Accrington.

  This way, instead of opening the full boot, you can just simply open this small hatch, throw something in and close again. Even better than renault's split tailgate in my opinion! Are Renault leading the field with this or are they copying someone else?
• Renault Clio alternator 1 Oct 2002 (Forum)
  Following a service at 15000 miles my dealer says that I have to have a new alternator fitted as the drive belt is shredded. A Renault service bulletin states that if the belt is shredded then a new alternator has to be fitted. When asked why a new alternator is needed the only answer I get is, "the alternator is miss aligned". Renault are prepared to pay %40 of the cost of the part.

• Renault Clio - dpf cleaning on a renault clio regeneration 7 Sep 2021 (Forum)
  We Have a 2017 Renault Clio 1.5 diesel with 26,000 miles on the clock which we bought new. The car isn't giving us any issues but I do read about the dpf and the damage that short journeys can do to the dpf. What is the best way to give the filter a good clean out?
