hello i have a peugeot 2.0 hdi and im having trouble with the head gasket and radiator at the moment. 2 weeks ago my light on th edashboard came on telling me i needed to fill the coolant up which i did as i found it was empty and then 3 days ago the light came on again to which i filled it up again which i thought was strange. -

The 110 has plenty of urgency normally, but now it seems like a 90 or even like there is no Turbo. A Peugeot Service manager drove it and said the turbo was definitely kicking in, but did not think that the power was down, but I know it is also the fuel economy is down significantly in city driving, from about 43 MPG to 36. -

Heres the deal, been reading up on HJ, and i see i'm not the only person to have experience a conrod failure in what i thought were bullet proof Peugeot Diesel engines. Mines a 306 S reg, 86000 miles on the clock, a common era for this to happen, but low mileage. I've only had the car a year, it had 72000 on the clock when i bought it, and had allegedly been off the road for 8 months before hand. -
