  Hi All, I currently have a 2019 BMW 430D Gran Coupe which is great, apart from the lack of space for our ‘staycations’ with a small family.  I am looking at changing it for something with more space and have a few cars I like the look of!

    So far it has had 6 new coils, 6 new injectors, several software updates and at the last visit a new catalyst (which I suspect was knackered by the misfiring though BMW thought this may be the cause). Warranty runs out at the end of the year and both SWMBO and I just starting to lose faith somewhat. Time for a change or would you hang on and extend the warranty again???

  My sister-in-law owns a BMW 330D. Recently it has developed an intermittent fault where it is impossible to start the car when the car is in ‘Park’ and it is not possible to remove the key from the ignition switch.

  I hope I can get some good feedback on this subject. My wife has a 2002 BMW 1.8 SE. It has been a good buy with few problems or unexpected costs. Mileage 60,000 . I am thinking of trading it in for something newer and more economical but after reading of all the problems with diesels I will probably stick with petrol and go for 1.6-1.8 Focus or Astra.

  Hi, I`ve recently purchased a BMW 520d M automatic June 07. Prior to this I`ve checked different sites review for power bhp and emission. What I`ve found out after different searches on internet was: power - 177bhp and 147g/km CO2 emissions.

  Having recently bought an E30 318IS (H reg) with 15 inch alloys and then suffering a rear puncture, I was fairly disheartened to discover that the studs would not "reach" throught the BMW spare wheel to screw into the hub. There are no spacers fitted or anything strange about the spare or the hub. I checked with BMW and the studs are original BMW studs (they only make one size/shape of studs) so why wont the studs work with the BMW spare wheel?

  Do you know if the Nokia 6230i iworks on the BMW 530d touring which has bluetooth preparation. Am am about to buy the car and don't want to pay inflated price for an extra that could be worthless to me!

  My BMW project is going for its MoT tomorrow. It started up and ran this afternoon (like a good 'un). I don't expect a faliure on anything major. It is untaxed and uninsured but don't worry its back on its trailer !!

  The steering rack on my 51 reg 320D has just failed at 83k miles. Is this normal or should I be pushing for 100% payment from BMW for the parts? Total bill will be just over £1000 OUCH!

  I do about 9k miles per year. I intend to buy a 1994 or 1995 5 series BMW, but don't know whether to go for a 525td(s) or a 520i petrol...is it worth paying the extra for a diesel given my low annual mileage?

  I bought an approved used BMW (6 months old at the time of buying) a year ago and the car is still under manufacturer's warranty till next year. Few months ago, I noticed that the lane departure light was turning on but the sensor was not doing anything.

  Used approved should have service done if 4000 or below. have phoned for a month now, and the salesman, takes around 4-5 days returning my calls. not had a call back for 1 week and 1 day now. so have written a letter stating the facts and that i want to know where and when the 30K mile service was done. what i would like to know is if i get no joy from BMW dealer, can i take my case to BMW UK? or should i start with BMW dealer principle? MD ?
