can any one tell me how to reset the service interval lights on my bmw 530d 2004.

Take it to a BMW dealer and have it serviced !!

Its a complicated affair of pushing the trip button in a set sequence with the key in various positions. I have never got it to work successfully. Fortunately I have the luxury of high spec diagnostics so resetting is a touch of the laptop key. Cross your local independant workshop with a few shekels and they will reset it for you as I think most scan tools should have the facility to do it.
Thats assuming you have serviced it!!
