  Hi there I've got a audi a3 2005 1.6 special edition but was involved in a hit and run incident as the police were chasing the car which smacked into the drivers front side of the car as it over took me dangerously damage is listed below but I'd like help figuring wat may be causing the camber on the drivers side front to be out Front wing damaged and door catching wing front drivers alloy has heavy metal almost like cut marks guessing where there wheel hit mine wing mirror non existent  I've had it checked by mot garage underneath can't see any damage but when tracking was done he noticed the the drivers camber is quite a bit out any ideas wat I may need to change?

  What I'm after is a reliable, conformable and an economic car - that is also fun to drive. It seems to me like the best options on the market are: 1. Audi A4 2.0TDI (2014-2016). 2. BMW 3 2.0d (2014-2016). I'm amazed by the low running costs and road tax for these cars. Along with decent reliability on WhatCar? Can you please advice me if I'm correct with my assertions, or perhaps there are other models you would recommend?

  I collected my car from the local Audi dealer after its three year service and first MOT. Next day I drove 170 miles to visit relatives and returned today, three days later. On my return I lifted the bonnet to replenish the windscreen washer and check the oil and found that the engine cover was missing and the battery terminal covers were adrift.

  Hi, I have an audi a3 2014 1.4 tfsi and the gearbox felt abit stiff/sticky in the gears whilst shifting. So i took it my local mechanic and he drove it around abit with me in the passenger seat. He revved it alot and at the end he took it back to garage and said he needs to do 1 more test.

  Hi We have recently purchased an Audi A6 2.5TDi Avant, and the other day I noticed the carpet in the rear passenger footwell was very wet we have checked the door seals and they seem to be in alright condition. And the other fault which I do not know if this maybe associated with the water is the other day we found all the indicator lights stuck on ( not flashing ) so called out the recovery service and the guy that came out started pulling out fuses to find out what was going as he pulled out the fuses for the hazard lights and turn signals and they still stayed on then he pulled out the fuse for the central locking, electric windows and boot light and the lights went off but the push button for the hazard lights was still dimly glowing even though the fuse was out.

  Hey, hoping someone can narrow down the issue for me, before I decide to take car to a local garage or Audi dealership where I bought it. Came into contact with debris on motorway, which made a bit of noise but didn't think anything of it as no damage seen and car looked and felt fine afterwards. Fast forward 1 week and 500 miles later, there is a vibration (I can feel it under the centre front of car and drivers seat) and there's a noise originating from the front passenger side wheel.

• Audi Allroad, Skoda Oktavia and others - Height of engine air intake 1 Aug 2014 (Forum)
  One option is to consider changing to 18 inch wheels and using all season tyres but my other option is to swop to a normal estate car but with the air intake high enough to get through this amount of water. I have tried asking Audi and Skoda for example but neither will tell me becasue they claim if they gave me a height and I drove through water that high and damaged the engne that I would sue them! Thanks very much

  I purchased a car in August and had lots of issues with it from day one, when I found it needed a new turbo I got a report from Audi and rejected the car. They ignored all my phone calls and letters so I applied to the small claims court. I stopped driving the car the day I sent the letter rejecting it and took a photo of the mileage with the date.

  Question is do i get a refurbished head and put it on do i go for a secound hand engine or do i go the reconditioned rebuilt route you hear lots of bad things about the latter two and any idea if the turbo would now be useless. Pretty hand myself but not sure if i would have the full kit to work on an Audi have rebuit VW 16v in past so not complete muppit just looking for some sound advice independant of the recondition engine companies. If any one knows any good companies to deal with would be mega greatful for advice have been offered £1500 as is 2007 model with leather sat nav sunroof Mnay thanks Terry

  For the past 12 months or so the heating system in my daughter's Audi (2002) has not been working, basically only cold air blowing out. She recently decided to have this fixed. On removing the thermostat, it was found that it needed replacing, a new one was put in, however the car then began to overheat.

  Would appreciate any views on this please. Had my 64,000 mile 2.0 tdi Audi serviced and the morning after the service my wife was driving to work and heard a loud bang and car lost power. She limped the 1 mile to the garage and after investigating they have advised that the chain drive to the oil pump has snapped and so they will need to replace.

  Is there something else that needs to come off to gain access or am I lacking some specialist tool or quite frankly the know how? I have looked up clips on YouTube but most relate to American cars and looks nothing like an Audi's. Many thanks in advance.

  I need a car for my wife who does quite a lot of driving up and down to A1 for under £11k, that ideally is a diesel auto, with cruise, and still has some warranty on it. I have found a 08 AUDI A3 DIESEL SPORTBACK 5 door, 2.0 TDi SE 5dr DSG with 66K miles for £10,600 inc 12 months tax and 9 months of manufacturers warranty left. or An 06 Mercedes C220 CDI SE Avantgarde Auto Saloon with 60K for £11K with 6 months tax and 6 months warranty.

  Hello all, today my wife filled her 2003 Audi 2.5tdi to the brim in Petrol (62lts worth). she only noticed when she came to put the nozzle back on the pump and found Mr Diesel was still home !. Luckily she did NOT start the car....... however inorder to push the car out of way the ignition had to be put on to free up the steering wheel and put the car in N (it is an automatic) I HOPE and pray that a full tanke drain should do the trick.. because the car had not actually run out of fuel am I right in assuming that techincally no Petrol should have made it to the Injector pump?..

  I have a 1.8 Audi A4 5v and It has about 143000 miles on it. It won't idle properly. The revs fluctuate and they drop to around 500 rpm and bounce back up to about 1500 rpm. It eventually got worse and the car wouldn't idle at all and while revving the engine at mid range and holding it, it would cut out and then go back up again.

  I have a 2001 Audi A4 2.0 petrol and have a problem with the remote C/L and security system. I have gone through the re-programing remote procedure to no avail. The car is completely dry inside and in the boot.

  Audi A3 (2001) 79K 110bhp TDI - Having had a power loss problem about 12 months ago, it was finally solved by replacing the air mass meter. This morning, and with no sign right up to the night before, the car has begun doing the same thing again.
