Vauxhall Zafira A - fuel pump 25 Jul 2015 (Forum)
Two weeks ago whilst at work it just wouldn't start, no warning lights or signs to tell me something was wrong beforehand. after a lot of investigation it was narrowed down to a fault on the fuel pump/ ecu. My car is currently off the road being repaired. Today I used my husbands car for work. A 2004 1.9 dci Renault megane. Started fine then all of a sudden wouldn't start, had it looked at and again have been told it is the fuel pump. -
Focus / CMax 1600ccTDCi - fuel issue / limp home 6 Sep 2014 (Forum)

1993 VW POLO mk3. - FUEL or SPARKS 25 Feb 2013 (Forum)
It currently drives fine for anything between 8-15 miles then the engine cuts out with symptoms like fuel starvation. It might start a few minutes later but it'll die just as quickly. If however it's left for a while it'll run again for quite some time. I need to check that a fuel mist is entering the carburation unit under the air cleaner (I'm not expecting a problem here as it runs well when running) and I have checked for a spark which is not the best but it is a spark. -

Renault Clio 1 Petrol (1991 - 1998) - 94 1.4 hi fuel consumption 23 Nov 2008 (Forum)
hi all .... i've had a renault clio I RT auto 94 for 7 months... after driving a frontera 2.2 lwb for the past 8 years .....wow its cheap to run.... well it was, its gone from about 40mpg to under 20mpg if im gentle.... its running normally.... i did the usual checks, all connections, plugs, leads... i took the air filter off and ran it, i can see lots of fuel coming from the single injector into the throttle body, i know visually there is too much fuel going in but i dont know the cause.. i'm told the lambda sensor would cause this but im not sure if im testing it right, putting the multi-meter probes into the terminals on the multi connector what readings should i get.... what else should i be testing ?... -
Peugeot 405 Diesel (1988 - 1996) - 1994 1.9TD Fuel problem 24 Oct 2008 (Forum)
When i came back it would not start, the engine turned over fine but it wasn't even trying to fire up. I primed the fuel system using the squidgy rubber pump and it fired up no problem. The car hasn't been left more than a couple of days since and has been fine with no starting or running problems until last night. The car has just been sat for 4 days and when i came to use it last night i had the same problem, i primed the fuel system and it started fine and it started fine this morning. -
306 1.9TD changed the fuel pump-Problems 24 Jan 2006 (Forum)
I recently tried to 'turn up' my 1998 306 Td by messing with the maximum fuel settings and boost settings. There is a black grommit on the lucas fuel pump that has to be removed so to 'turn it up'. But i broke the grommit, and had to buy a second hand pump, as grommits can not be bought for love nor money and trying to fit one was no good either. -
Fuel pumps? 11 May 2005 (Forum)
Okay, I accept this is going to make me seem really dumb, but anyway...recently I've noticed that the fuel pumps at Sainsbury's have been sort of 'snapping back' a lot (I don't know the technical term, but when you pull the release trigger, and it jsut doesn't let you have nething till you ease off). It happens only at Sainsbury's which I think's a bit weird, and I've noticed the gauge never seems to go up as much as I'd expect (25 litres of fuel ought to make the gauge up to about 1/2, as it does normally I'd have thought...though I accept this could be psycho-somatic).
