Citroen C5 (2001 - 2008) - 04 2.2 OBD fault code connector 12 Jun 2008 (Forum)
A Sealey code scanner does not light up its backlit display when plugged into the C5. On other cars it does light up. It seems like not picking up the C5's battery voltage. Does anyone know if this mean that there is a fault on the C5's OBD connector? Thanks. -
I Have a Question - Volume 209 21 Nov 2007 (Forum)
I remember seeing thousands of little silver eels on the beach at Brid once in the 50`s as a kid. Never seen since. I know they go up rivers and to the sargasso sea... But why only the once? is it that there`s a specific day or two? and why on the beach so far up from the Humber? Subject line altered to avoid conflict with L'Escargot's tooth problem ! -

MINI Options 11 May 2004 (Forum)
I\'m looking at getting myself a new Mini. I can either get a regular Cooper, or stretch to a pretty poverty-spec Cooper S. Has anyone any idea how this will affect residuals. A/C is a £700 option and I\'m concerned that not having it will make it harder to shift a few years down the line. Would I be better off giving up on the Cooper S and settling for a well spec-ed standard Cooper? -

V8s, boxers, V6s why sound nice? 1 Mar 2004 (Forum)
While out for a walk this morning I couldn't help noticing a scooby drive past and thought it sounded quite nice. This got me wondering why V8's and to a lesser extent V6's soounds so appealing. There must be a scientific explanation somewhere why an offbeat V8 burble sounds pleasing. Something to do with odd and even harmonics perhaps...? -

60 years of local car sales 20 Dec 2021 (Forum)
Looking at the number and size of new developments that surprised me but its still a 22% increase against a UK increase of 29% over the same period. In the 1960’s we had new car dealerships for Peugeot, Vauxhall, Renault, 2 x BMC, Ford and Roots Group. By the 1970’s nothing had changed really except by the end of the decade one of the BMC dealers had changed to Toyota, Lada and FSO had appeared and for a very short time in the mid 70’s Fiat had a showroom in the local Fine Fare. -
