  I know Renaults are much maligned in this forum, but how cool is their booking service? My Scenic II is heading for its 18K mile service in late August, and I know there is variation between garages as to cost.

  Tomorrow, weather permitting, I have been asked to view a Renault Megane by my young niece with a view to purchasing the car.. I'm afraid that I don't know anything at all about these cars, and have told her so. I can obviously make the usual checks that one would make before the purchase of any used car, but don't know anything specifically relating to these vehicles.

  I have a problem with my Renault 5 from 1993 (Injection model) Failure: The engine runs fine when it is cold, but when it has reached its normal temperature the engine has a funny idea about stopping/stalling when the clutch is pressed.

  Hi, I recently had my rear wheel bearing changed on my Renault Megane 1.9 td. I discovered a squeek over the weekend so removed the wheels to add some grease, (which the garage didn\'t do). I\'m come up against a slight problem. When putting everything back together, I realised that I don\'t have a torque wrench to check the bearing bolt was set correctly.

  When it did finally start for several miles it missfired terably.Eventually it settled down, I have driven it for about 250 miles with several starts hot and cold without any further problems. Renault main dealer took a look at it today and found nothing wrong and as no warning measage or fault log recorded they could do no more.Now I have heard lots of stories of coil packs packing up and wondered if this could be one of these coil packs failing and would not necessarily show a fault on the vehicle log.I would be interested in any comments from any one with experiance in this area.

  Hi All, I have had a look around the forum and not seen any answers so here goes: I have a \'95 Renault 5 1.4 with approx 80K milage, serviced according to schedule etc. Recently when I switch off the engine after driving, I notice that there is a whining from the back of the car which stops a few seconds after the engine is switched off.
