Renault - Any Model - Turbo Tip (Must Read) 7 Jan 2009 (Forum)
After problems with my renault grand espace iv turbo, I was told this tip from a renault expert. If you ever encounter problems with your turbo you may have to deal with your engine reving all by itself. This could mean that oil is entering the turbo and making the car rev up by itself. -
Renault Clio II (2001 - 2007) - 01 1.2 Starting Problem. Immobiliser? 22 Dec 2008 (Forum)
So I'm hoping somebody can shine a light on what's going on and where to go from here. I don't really want to have to go to Renault as I'm sure my wallet would only end up penniless. Thanks in advance, Ashley Oh and sorry it's quite the essay. -
Renault Clio II (2001 - 2007) - 2004 1.5DCi - Air-con failure 3 Dec 2007 (Forum)
Hi everyone, I've got a 54 reg Renault Clio II 1.5dCi 100 bhp. It's a couple of months past it's warranty and the climate control has died. The c/c computer is still working fine, but there's nothing coming out of the vents. It's not the fuse, as it failed once, then a few times, then permanently. -
Bizarre Accident Experience This Morning 14 Jul 2007 (Forum)
I see that the Escort size van that is two cars ahead of me is braking sharply and the car in front of me probably isn't going to stop. I look in the mirror and see a Renault too close for comfort on a wet road and behind him a transit that is going way too fast. Everyone is now slamming on the brakes and I see that the Renault is probably going to hit me and be hit by the Transit. -
Replacement for daughter's Clio? 30 Apr 2007 (Forum)
"She is sending me all details of probems with car over last 4 years, is there any point in pursuing this with Renault HQ? (she is on her 4th Renault dealer - none of whom seem to show any concern) She has (understandably) lost all faith in Renault and Clios(and French cars!!) despite her 2 previous cars being Renault, - a 5 and an old Clio neither of which gave any trouble at all, and is considering a "new" (not necessarily brand new) car So far she has mentioned Honda Civic , Seat Leon, Toyota Corolla, and Skoda Fabia. -
Renault Aircon problem 28 Apr 2007 (Forum)
Has anyone got any HALF DECENT wiring diagrams? It pains me to EVEN THINK of taking it to some Renault dealer, who will tell me it needs regassing. Yeah, right, mate. And you need redeploying. Laurence. -
buying new; main dealer or broker? 9 May 2006 (Forum)
After a long long time of talking about buying a new vehicle I'm about to do just that. I'am about to buy a new Renault Trafic and have trawled the net and main dealers trying to get the best deal. The Renault main dealers price for an identical vehicle is £1100 more than that from a vehicle broker. By broker I mean the type of firm that has full page colour spreads in the Trader pushing leasing. -
Megane dynamique trim seat wear 31 Dec 2005 (Forum)
Any one else had a similar problem with this trim level? Apart from never buying a Renault again, can anybody offer advice on how to get Renault to respond? (other than this, the car is much better than the equivalent Focus estate I had previously) Thanks, Roy -
Renault Laguna dCi advice please 13 Apr 2005 (Forum)
I have a few queries that I am hoping you knowledgeable men may be able to help with. I have a Renault Laguna dCi 2003 model that is soon to turn 100K. Although it has been very reliable and cheap to run I fancy a change. So I went down to my local Renault dealer to have a look at the new Laguna dCi. -
