Help me decide- Volvo S40 / Peugeot 406 6 Dec 2010 (Forum)
I currently own a Volvo S40 1.8i 1998 petrol saloon with the GDI injection and have been offered a 1999 Peugeot 406 Diesel Turbo 2l estate. Both have some problems (which you may be able to help me diagnose) and I'd like some help choosing which to keep. The Peugeot would be given to us free and we could sell either car and keep the money. -

Peugeot 2008 1.2 Puretech 130 EAT6 - Which oil? 16 Dec 2022 (Forum)
Scotland ;-) Is 00W20 now recommended for newer engines? Would a 'thinner' oil protect more against carbonisation? No-one at the Peugeot dealer could answer these questions; they just replaced the factory oil with 00W30 at the first service, because that's all they had in stock. I wonder if there are any oil experts out there who know the pros and cons? -
Peugeot 306 S16 - heater matrix connector assembly 29 Mar 2022 (Forum)
I am in Australia but the best suppliers for right hand drive Pug parts look to be the UK. The Peugeot P/N would be helpful if anyone has it. I also assume the connector for the S16 (1995) is the same for all right hand drive 306s. Thank you Harry -

I have a Peugeot 3008 2013 hybrid with 17 inch 225/50R17 low profile tyres and wheels and the ride is very very very hard, I have stopped taking corners at 90 mile an hour about 40 years ago, so I'm looking for a softer tyre and wheel combination. -

Peugeot 208 - Do you think this is repairable? 12 Jun 2018 (Forum)
Thought I would be able to upload some photos.. but maybe not. So I managed to tear a roof rack off my Peugeot 208 yesterday.. yes I know.. I have damaged the vehicle in numerous places, but I think the main concern being where the 4x connectors were attached to the car. Each one has been pulled/dented/deep scratched. -

In warmer weather, or being re-started later there is no problem at all. The hot plugs were checked by a Peugeot dealer last winter and found to be ok, but they had no further suggestions on the cause. The fuel filter was changed at 42k Miles. I would be grateful for any ideas as to what may be going wrong. -
