  In the current financial climate I'm considering downsizing my car. I have a 1.4 Renault Clio Expression (56) and I'd like something less powerful and cheaper to run. No doubt others will have the same idea... What would be the best way to go about this? Sell the car myself and get something cheaper, or can you trade in for an older cheaper car and get money back?

  I was just looking at the Renault clio for £99 per month and it seems very good deal. Just a few questions about pcp as i have never done it before. who is responsible for servicing/tax/mot/repairs/tyres etc of the vehicle and is it at my expense?

  I have a friend (amazing, I know) with an old Renault Espace. The headlining is mostly rigid but with what looks like three areas of carpet squares. These squares started to sag and drop so we used a spray glue (intended for for carpet tiles) on it and it seemed ok for a while.

  Two new babies have arrived in the TVM family today Nicole has a new Renault Clio 3, 1.5dCi expression in metalic steel blue, which unexpectedly arrived with free rear parking sensors.   Hi, I can get aftermarket pads for my Clio for about £10 give or take and genuine Renault ones for £38 give or take. I heard that aftermarket ones tend to be softer so it might be false economy? The genuine ones on the car will last about 36,000 miles I would say, given they have done 28k and there is about 5mm of material remaining..

  Can anyone tell me how to remove the steering wheel and air bag from my 2003 renault megane? The airbag light has come on and the rotary connection has fallen to bits so i need to replace it but ive never had one apart b4 on this model. I used to be a vehicle technician for a well known german prestige manufacturer so I know all the saftey matters.

  Hi all, Just wondering whether any one could recommend a good auto electrician in the Hove / Brighton area? Need one for some Polish friends who have a Renault Scenic with dual fuel, a full tank of gas, but the sensor does not allow for the gas tank to be used. They have been told (in Poland) that it needs to have an update into the software and so I'm looking for someone who could do this for them.

  Checking my oil at the weekend like a good boy, pulling the dip-stick up I got a little surprise - it snapped off half way down! Having spoken to Renault today, they claim that this would be classed as wear & tear - however, it seems a little odd to me that one should snap after 18 months. Any opinions?

  . -15°C protection rather than -25°C from new. Is a coolant change easy? I'm going to find a Haynes manual. Last time I did this, Renault 18, bleeding the air out was tedious. -- I wasna fu but just had plenty.

  i have a renault espace 2.1 td 1994 and ever since i got it it has had an odd miss or hic on tickover.ive tried the usual stuff-fuel and air filter changed the oil, flushed with redex. could it be the glow plugs?

  If fuel additives (redex etc) claim to reduce emissions, will they help on your MOT test at all?? Seems too good to be true to me. It's a 1992 1108cc phase 1 Renault Clio- failed on CO. Furthermore, it's about the only non-cat clio- the test centre will know this won't they? Any help appreciated for a new-boy

  It's quite a stylised, sporty loooking model, about the size of a Freelander and hasan integral hardcover for the spare wheel built into the rear door, in the same style as the Renault Scenic RX4. Any ideas on what model this is? I'm intrigued.

  I have a renault scenic and every time i start the engine there is a noise of running water.It seems to be losing water and needs to be topped up regularly.It has been to the the garage three times and had the thermostat hosing replaced,The thermostat itself replaced and finally the radiator replaced and its still the same.Its costing a fortune and Im desperate.

  I'm looking for a medium/larger size diesel car for about a grand. What would be the best one to go for, Mondeo, 406, RENAULT LAGUNA, ford escort turbo diesel, CITROEN Xantia etc? Whats best and whats the worse diesel. Remember I only have £1,000. Cheers for any help.

  Hi I'm looking to relpace my Clio (4yr old).. had my fill of Renault.. esp petrol versions.. lost count of the coil packs I have had replaced. I really like the VW Passat but it is too expensive. even S/Hand, for me. looking at the Octavia 1.9TDi 5Dr.. I know VW make it... but is the build similar?

  great result, all they need to rectify is the expensive parts list and first place will be a cert next year. Renault looking appauling again, other of note is audi who look terrible. And how do Seat make VW chassis better than VW? Rover-Mg result was decent - room for improvement. Fiat seemed to do well.

  Hello I\'m new here. I have a problem with my renault laguna-I want to adjust the clutch semiauto adjust mechanism but on my car it does not look like in the haynes-it has no markings to show locked or unlocked and i can\'t seem to twist it. the unit is just black with no external markings like lock/unlock.
