  My good lady was left stranded yesterday in her 1998 Audi A6 AEB 1.8T. As she was pulling away onto a roundabout there was a clunk and then no drive. On investigation today the drive shaft has snapped just as it comes out of the cv joint. Has anyone found a decent supplier of these shafts as Audi was £359 inc VAT exchange for the shaft.

  Looks like Audi have pulled their channel on Sky. I watched it VERY ocasionally if I had a spare 5 minutes and cound find nothing else. I could never see how this was going to pay for Audi. They claimed that it was a very cost effective way of advertising when they launched but surely advertising only works if you can speak to the people.

  Has anyone any experience of the true MPG figures for the current range of Audi A4 convertables? I am looking to change my company car and have had good quotes for the 2litre turbo and the 3.2 fsi multitronic. If the MPG rates are realistic (as per Audi) there may be only a £12 per month differential for the 3.2 because of the mileage rate of 15ppm for the 2l or 19.5ppm for the 3.2l Thanks

  It might be common knowledge already, but if you feel there isn't enough motoring stuff on Sky there's now another channel to feed your addiction... Dedicated to the aspirational world of Audi, it's channel 259 on Sky. Early days yet, but some good stuff on the Quatrro legend, lots of inside info on current Audis, and plenty of nice single make car eye candy. It'll be great if a few more 'interesting' car manufacturers follow suit...

  brought an audi a6 (1998) recently and it only has one key. a friend who had an A6 as a company car a few years ago gave me an old key he had (the flip up type). is it possible to take this to an audi dealer to be reprogrammed and have new key cut in.

  hi i have an audi a6 1998 - is it possible to change the plastic lens covers on the front? i beleive there part of the headlight and not aftermarket protectors. they seem to have gone a brown/yellow colour and the lights are not as bright as they used to be.
