  • KIA Rio (2001 - 2005) - 2001 1.5 stalls in the morning? IAC? 8 Jul 2009 (Forum)
    Hello, My 2001 Rio has now started to stall in the morning when I try to pull out of my drive. After I start it for the second time, it revs up and drive just fine. I think it may be the IAC and I want to try cleaning it. Does anyone know where the IAC is on a 2001 Rio? Tyrian {correct year edited into header (was originally 20) }

    I have a R reg/1997 Laguna 1.9 turbo diesel.It has done nearly 130000 miles so the cambelt will need replacing soon for the second time.It still is a nice car to drive,very economical and,touch wood hasn't cost us a lot in repairs.Do I have the cambelt done and keep it or not have it done and just drive it till it goes or replace the car while it is still running well?

  • Trade policy - vehicles driven by someone else 1 Sep 2008 (Forum)
    My girlfriend is not on my trade policy but she's on her own comprehensive policy on her car. She is covered to drive any other cars as long as the car does not belong to her and insured. Is she going to be covered to drive one of my stock cars with my consent? I assume all of my cars are covered by my insurance because this is a trade policy?
  • IAM and teenagers 20 Aug 2008 (Forum)
    If they could skid round a corner, they would; if they could go round it on two wheels, they would. Driving was an opportunity to show off. Is it still like that? Or was I unlucky with my friends? Half of them had prangs which were "somebody else's fault" which actually meant that if they'd been driving sensibly the accident wouldn't have happened.

  • British Gas Van limited to 70mph 4 May 2008 (Forum)
    If it was to increase mpg then perhaps someone should tell them that limiting it to 70 won't do a lot of good as there aren't many places that you can do 70 anyhow the sort of driving they do! More useful would be teaching their drivers how to drive economically rather than just putting a speed limiter on it...

  • Computer Related Questions - Volume 144 2 Jan 2008 (Forum)
    I had it on my computer and uninstalled it. Now 3 months later I want it back and it won't install as it says "Unable to determine which drive you use to boot your computer" or words to that effect. As I only have one hard drive and it isn't partioned I can't identify the problem and the error message doesn't give me any link to a troubleshooting opportunity.
  • Rover - 07 reg Rover -- How?? 8 Dec 2007 (Forum)
    Driving through Kidderminster today. An event in itself I know... however, saw an 07 reg Rover 75. Now that got me thinking. AFAIK, Rover have not produced cars since 2004 (54 or 05) at very latest. Cherished reg plates don't allow you to make the car look newer than i is, so how on earth does a 3 year old car drive away with a newarly new registration mark?
