  The door solenoid on the rear nearside passenger door has gone on my 1.5D XRD. Are these easy to replace and are they the same as other Peugeots/Citroens etc?

  i have a peugeot 306 td 99 reg, it doesnt rev past 4000 rpm, been told it might have a restrictor fitted. does anyone who where i sholud look to dissconect this or if it is a different problem all together.

  I have a Peugeot 405gl ultra 1580cc which will no longer start.There is nothing obvious so we tried a fault finder but due to the vagueries of the manual cannot find the diagnostic socket.Has anyone any ideas?

  i have a peugeot 406 1.9dt and think it is developing a knock, The knock is not constant but is noticeable at low revs, the knock is deep sounding but not constant, any idea what this could be? and is it a big job to do?

  The tachometer on my Peugeot 306 1.9 Turbo diesel works only intermittently, with no apparent reason for the failure. The sensor has been taken off and cleaned and the connection has been cleaned, to no avail. Any suggestions, please,in layman's terms?

  Hi all, I would like to buy a Peugeot 2008 (2018 or 2019), with a 1.2 petrol engine. I quite like the car, with the only visible flaw being the small back seats. I plan to use it for light weekend driving and occasional long motorway journeys to the Continent with the kids.

  Hi all    I posted a thread earlier about how my abs /esp warning light came on in my Peugeot 308. Tonight I took it for a short run to see if the issue was still there, I noticed quickly that the brakes (or something else) was crunching when I was braking at low speeds. The I got a "brake system" warning which told me to stop the car.

  The turbo on my Peugeot 407 2.0 hdi had not been working, but on checking the vac hoses discovered a broken connector , I replaced this and got the turbo working again, but it's not perfect , in certain rev ranges , and gears , the turbo doesn't spin up properly, it will spin up then fall back, then spin back up again , fall back , and then usually the third time when engine speed has picked up will hold it and spin up properly, it doesnt happen from first or second gear.

  Hi recently bought a peugeot expert 2.0 HDi 2003 model. the van drove 50 miles home faultlessly, and ran perfect that night tootling about. I then got in it to get to work the next morning and it started and ticked over fine, set off and the van just cut out, started up again straight away for 2-3 seconds then cut out again.

  My petrol peugeot 206 is juddering or misfiring and I am looking for some advice.  There are no fault codes and no engine warning light, does this rule out injector fault? I replaced the spark plugs and coil because the plugs were due and I had a spare coil handy - no help.

  On behalf of a friend, so I don't know full details of the model, but her Peugeot is only a few years old and her car runs out of petrol very quickly. For example, she tops up her car to Half a Tank of petrol, but it runs down to the next level of the metre after just 3 miles.

  After any advice, my Peugeot 806 HDI 2001 model has developed a fuel gauge fault, whereby the needle will sometimes flit from the correct reading to absolutely full. Then empty. Then jiggering around half full. A main dealer has checked everything from the instruments back ie: sender etc.

  We recently bought a 1997 peugeot 406 with the 2.1 diesel engine and manual gearbox. We noticed after a couple of weeks ownership that it sometimes popped out of 5th gear but usually only at low RPM and when you were on and off the throttle.

  I am trying to wire up a trailer electrical socket and asked advice at a Peugeot dealer. I was told that if it was not multiplex, I could just connect up to the wires to each light etc.. However, if it was multiplex, then I would need o purchase a genuine Peugeot wired up plug.

  I'm aware that the Partner Combi and the Berlingo Multispace are pretty well the same thing, however I was told today by a Peugeot salesman that not only are these two made on neighbouring production lines BUT so are the Renault Kangoo and the Fiat Doblo. He was adamant that they are all made by Peugeot and sold with different badges with just cosmetic changes.
