hyundai getz 1.3 automatic - poor petrol consumption 25 Aug 2011 (Forum)
I have had a Hyundai Getz 1.3 GSI automatic for the last four years. I am the second owner, the car is a 2004 model, and has only done 33,000 miles. It's a nippy little car, but it drinks petrol as if there was no tomorrow. It is regularly serviced, and for much of the time I use it for local runs with the odd long distance trip of 80 to 120 miles. -

Ford Mondeo II (1996 - 2000) - 98 2.0 Automatic gearbox slipping 8 Oct 2009 (Forum)
It has run beautifully for the past 9 months/12,000 miles, although the auto gearbox has never quite felt 'right' - but as I've never owned an automatic before I just put it down to, well, being automatic. Anyway, driving home tonight I put my foot down to overtake on a hill and although the engine revved perfectly smoothly up to 5,500 rpm, and the gearbox kicked down, it didn't result in much increase in speed - perhaps and extra 5mph. -
Omega Automatic Transmission 18 Jul 2003 (Forum)
Dear All Hope you can help because I don't really trust Vauxhall dealers! I've got a 1999 Omega 2.0 CDX Automatic estate. I've had it about 6 months and love the car but......... on the digital readout the words "automatic transmission" have appeared twice in the last two days. I've been able to drive the car still albeit at lower speeds and taking things easy. -
