Ford, Vauxhall, Smart, Nissan, Volkswagen- I would probably have no qualms about buying another of their cars, as my owning experience was generally pleasant and positive.

  1996 Nissan Micra K11 type. Has always started OK. It has been stood for 7 days as I have been away on holiday. This morning it refused to start. The starter motor turned but the engine wouldn't catch. I tried a few 30 second bursts trying to start it.

  Obviously its a brake warning light of some sort, but we've just noticed that the big folder she received when she bought the car does not contain an owners handbook! so we can't identify exactly what this light means. We rang the Nissan dealer, but they just said to bring the car in and leave it with them...not really what we want to do if possible cos she needs the car for work. I've checked the brake fluid level, and that is at the max mark.

  I bought an ODB2 scanner for our Nissan Xtrail and it did exactly what we wanted. I was also told it would help with a friends Vauxhall Movano diesel van (2001) but when I took the panel off I'm pretty sure it is an ODB connector ( I dont know as Ive never seen one ) Is there a way of connecting my motorpower ODB2 scanner to an ODB1 connector ?

  Hi all My wife is looking to change her fiat 500x for something similar and diesel this time as her commute is longer. Ive done some research and narrowed down to Nissan Juke, Qashqai, Kuga? Her priorities are cheap to run, highish driving position , space for 2 kids and practicality. She likes the kind of funky look of that makes sense?!
