• 2002 Polo 9N sporadic starting problems 18 Aug 2007 (Forum)
  Hi, Perhaps someone can shed some light on this sporadic starting problem with a 2002 Volkswagen Polo 1.4 SE (petrol), BBY engine code, manual box. The car is driven by a pensioner with a corresponding short shopping trip/low annual mileage driving profile. In total, the car has only covered about 5,000 miles since new (1 owner).

  We currently have an 06 Zafira (new shape) but there isn't enough space in there when we use it for our business, mainly due to the fact that the seats aren't removable (and would be nice if there was a bigger capacity in the back) so I'm looking for an MPV which will do the job. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would appreciate it. Have seen the Volkswagen Caddy Maxi Life but that seems very pricey, are there any other MPVs that have a high capacity? Would appreciate any comments. Thanks

  There was also a link for a tunnel in Russia where a camera had filmed the slippery conditions (and ensuing mayhem) that also was worth watching. Looking at the (very funny) link with the Volkswagen ad with the swear word listed earlier in this forum that brought a big grin to my face I remembered these two past glories. Are there other ones that I have missed could be compiled into one thread that would provide some of us with a smile when the rain-clouds come yet again to spoil our summer?

  A friend is looking for an all wheel drive estate car as a result of living on an unmaintained country lane which can become difficult in winter. Not keen on 4x4s. I can think of only the Jaguar X-Type 2.5V6 (thisty) and Volkswagen Passat 2.0TDI 4Motion (ok I suppose) as well as the new Honda CR-V (not very 4x4 like and acceptable). I originally suggested the Audi Quattro range but they were not keen. Am I missing anything out or does anyone have any suggestions?

  Somewhat dismayed with the posts in here just lately which seem to critisize endlessly various car companies products in particular Ford and Volkswagen. Surely we all come to the backroom 'cos we love cars? I do have issues with some cars but i'm very reluctant to critisize them as I still get enourmous pleasure driving them and sometimes their faults are part of the charm.
