  I am looking at replacing my 5 yr old Seat Alhambra with either new SUV (possibly the new Peugeot 4007 or Citroen C Crosser) or, alternatively getting a 2-3 yr old quality SUV such as the Tourag or XC90. I tow a caravan and need a fairly heavy tow car. If I went for the new Pug or Citroen I would need to get a loan of about £5k The Volvo/ VW at 2-3 yrs old would mean no loan and thats probably the route I will go and i will go for 2.5l diesel but of the 2 which is better?!!

  I have a saxo vts 'Y' plate, its due its third service, from service one i can remember the car making a clicking noise after you have changed gears and put your foot on the acc. Citroen say they adjusted something in the clutch but the noise is getting more frequent and worse. don't think it is the drive shaft. has anyone ever had this problem as its driving me up the wall.   I wonder if anyone can help me, I have a citroen ZX with the 1360cc engine fitted in every citroen/peugeot for the last 30 years. It has recently developed a 'ticking' noise, most notable at around 20/30 mph, but not at idle. I'm wondering if it could be a sign that the cam belt is about to break (I know nothing about engines and how they work.)
