• Lexus, BMW - Coming out of a company car to an allowance 1 Apr 2011 (Forum)
   This has led me to look at other cheaper options.  I have seen some very reasonable, low-mileage BMW 3 series (318/325) - circa £5k that I though might also be a good call.  I'd also have to get a 3rd party warranty with one of these as I wouldn't fancy BMW level repair bills if something major happened.

  I read somewhere that all BMWs were done that way so they never had unsold stock sitting about...hence their famed profitability as a maker...then I read that in Germany BMW punt out a ton of vehs to stock there in all sorts of the usual sales wheezes and indulge in shifting metal like everyone else.

  Hi, I helped a friend buy a used car last month, she got a 3 year old BMW 3 series diesel. Before she’s purchased the car, we had been to see 2 others at different BMW dealerships. For various reasons we didn’t go with them including the unwillingness to budge on the price and/or throw in a longer warranty.
