Very comfortable and an excellent motorway cruiser.

Having tried the R Design opted for the SE Lux as the ride is so much more comfortable. The SE Lux comes with Bi Xenon headlights which do not need adjusting to drive on the continent.
The D2 has adequate power and is able to keep up on the motorway with ease. It is well built and easy to live with, carrying 4 adults without complaint. The climate control is excellent. However our previous car was a C30 2.0D which we loved. In comparison the V40 has a rather dark interior with quite a poor view out. It is a "nice" car but rather soulless, easy to own but lacking the character of the C30.
