Suprisingly good

2010 Black Zafira Elite model, top model. All electrics and leather, window tints, very spacious comfortable family vehicle.

The 1.8 petrol engine despite its mediocre performance and economy (36 mpg average) is probably the best pick. Faster than the 1.6 petrol, and more reliable than any diesel in this Zafira (if taken care of).

7 seater is a bit of a gimmick, yes its possible but only for small kids. Does seat 5 adults in absolute comfort with still plenty space for luggage.

In short, a surprisingly decent multi purpose vehicle (MPV) vehicle, not bad to drive (handbrake is rather odd to use its a massive lever but other than that OK) and reliable if taken care of. Despite its age it just passed another MOT and I am keeping this car for another year yet, despite being 16 years old and it has well over 100K miles now!
