Vauxhall Mokka X (2012 - 2019)
1.4 140 Turbo Exclusiv Start+Stop 5dr
Good and r****** car constantly having issue after issue.
Had this car for 5 years, the first couple of years the car was fine, then started to cost quite a bit of money.
Purge valve replaced ( Common fault on these cars )
Brake caliper seized required a new one
02 sensor packed up needed a new one
Radiator plastic connector hose snapped needed a new one as plastic went brittle spraying coolent all over the engine
Leaking oil filter replaced at service
Another oil leak this time the rocker gasket this was replaced
Another oil leak the oil cooler gasket expensive fix as turbo and about 30% of the car engine needs dismantling to repair about a days job and new part required also expensive the OEM part nearly " 200.00 on top of labour ( Common fault on these style Mokka X)
Car rpms were up and down sometimes when sat in traffic could not be diagnosed why this was
Heater sometimes just blew out cold air instead of warm air when set at 23.
TPMS sensor on one wheel needed replacing as packed up.
Overall the car was nice to drive seats were comfortable, but had little or no boot space and back seat space for adults was poor. This car is really only suited as a town runabout and occasional use for motorway. Not suitable for a family of 4 due to lack of boot size. Car was cheap to insure though and tax.
