A very smooth and economical drive

I'd never owned or driven a hybrid before but knew someone who thought very highly of their Prius. I took one out for a test drive and was impressed with the performance and quality of the ride. The CVT gearbox means there are no discernable gear changes and the 1.8L petrol engine gives a good amount of power when required of it. Being a Toyota I knew it would be reliable backed up with a 5 year warranty. I've done 6000 miles so far without any hiccup including a driving holiday up to Scotland. I haven't had it serviced yet (until 10000 miles) but see that Toyota have a fixed-price service which should suit me nicely. I just like the reliablilty, quality and predictability of owned a Toyota.
