Totally exceeds my expectations

Based on the ratings of various owner surveys and trying to find a car I can use day to day on my 180 mile daily commute, I was looking for something that is cheap to run, reliable, low road tax and big enough to carry my wife and two children with enough comfort and room.
This car has ruined my opinion of other marques and makes it now very difficult to choose any other car that cannot meet the criteria that this car has.
After 18 months and 42000 miles (had 52k on the clock when bought), it has not broken down and all I have had to do is service it (18k intervals) and replace the rear discs and pads.
The alternator belt did come off, but the car still started and I was able to drive it to the dealership where they replaced the belt and alternator under warranty. Easy to drive and a pleasure to own.
Only thing I have a grip with is the wind noise coming from the rear passenger window by the c-pillar.
Given the choice again, I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.
